Nice play to stay if spending the night at Taroko Park. Rooms are nice and clean, with wide windows overlooking the mountains. Walking distance from Park Center where food is sold but far enough to have a good night's sleep. Staff are friendly though speak little english. They also helped us arrange a taxi that could take us around and... More

A nice western style hotel in the gorge. Pretty good breakfast in the morning buffet style. Close to the Water Sheet Cave hike and Tienhsiang where you can have supper until around 7 pm. I strongly suggest you spend the night in the gorge, it is so quiet at night and the early morning before the buses arrive.

After leaving Taipei and a splendid hotel, my husband and I stayed here for three nights to be close to the hiking we wanted to get done. We were surprised that our room cost the same price as Taipei, but was half the room in comfort. The staff was lovely and they cleaned our room daily, but it smelled like... More

It's not a hostel, but is more like a B&B. there is a convenience store but is opened only in the evening. Wifi works well but only at the reception area. Simple food but Quiet n quaint environment makes up for it. Good for a short getaway just to enjoy the greenery.

From my researching, I only found 3 choices for places to stay that were ACTUALLY LOCATED INSIDE THE TOROKO GORGE PARK. Silks Place is ridiculously expensive and The Leader Village is most often booked and also fairly expensive. This place is just a block away from Silks Palace so thus the same views and location for a much, much cheaper... More

Our group of four adults stayed here for 2 nights so that we could do some hiking in the park. The room was very clean and also quiet for a good nights sleep. The beds were large and comfortable with nice quality linens and duvets. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. We had a nice view of the gorge... More

The name "Youth Activity Center” make you feel like it is a hostel. But it is not. This is a pretty nice hotel located on a beautiful surrounding. We booked two nights here and did some hiking in the Taroko National park during the day. The 4- person room has two single beds and one queen/king size bed. The room... More

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the surrounding beautiful scenery. The room is almost like 4-star hotel quality and the buffet style breakfast was great (although mainly Taiwanese style). The front desk ladies were helpful and our room was serviced on the second day. Even though it's a little pricey, it's worth the location and quality!

So, yes it is a youth centre so you cannot except the luxury of the resort, the comfort of a big hotel and room service :) Actually when you go on their website you might not find this place great... BUT the thing is, this place is super clean, peaceful, very well located (only 3mns walk from the bus station... More

Well situated, but too expensive for the room and amenities/food. A Room with double and 2 singles: NTD3750 (with 10% discount because my daughter had her student card) , (with Chinese style breakfast) Dinner: NTD150/person (lunch box on a plate).
