Popular as a halfway house to break your long drive between two destinations. Yuan Hsiang's offerings are credible especially its Red clay salty hotspring water @ 42 - 43 degrees centigrade. I loved my stay here. From-the-heart service by the owner/staff. There is free pick-up and drop-off from Ruei Suei train station, and Taiwanese breakfast was home-cooked, served piping hot. I stayed at Yuan Hsiang Hot Spring Resort for 2 nights while on a two week visit to Taiwan. The room was fantastic, clean and spacious. The biggest feature was the hot spring bath in the room/cabin. Beautiful resort minsu to stay n relax n away from a busy town ...... Most importantly is the boss Mr Lin with super friendly services n providing us with valuable info ... Nothing much nearby to see but simply the best for relaxing! But having a hot spring bath inside your room is the best privacy ever in this cold... More

my first time to have hot spring in Taiwan, actually it quit far away, nearly 4hrs from taipei to the east, the resort offers free pick up at the train station, the resort has just 16 rooms but it is nice, clean and big, both private and public hot spring are there, breakfast is good but dinner is just soso...,...
