Old hotel, room size was just okay and you can tell it's been a while since they remodeled. Hated the dark carpet of the floor because looked dirty and old. Besides, our room was in the street side and even with the windows closed the noise of the cars passing was quite annoying. There's plenty amenities for kids, which was... More

for the price, it's a good hotel. I booked it by accident, I wants to stay in the same chain in the city, but apparently I dialed the wrong number and didn't pay attention. It turned out it's better for my son, as there is a play room, and swimming pool. I didn't have a chance for the swimming pool,... More

Signed up for their weekend kids package via their website, includes diy cookie decoration and design your own bag, and a buffet breakfast. Stayed in Chaculet building room 7128 on the ground floor facing the garden (ie no view), had 2 big beds and a living space. Very crowded on the weekend with mostly families with kids, had to q... Huge hotel, perfectly clean, with perfect staff, perfect breakfast and perfect coffee. the easiest way to get to the hotel is by arranging a taxi, ether from Hsinchu (5 CHF) or from Tayouan airport (35-40 CHF). If you phone (email) the hotel, they will organize a taxi for you - that is quite important if you are coming from Hsinchu... More

Stayed there as part of a Conference package in an executive room in the Chalucet Castle (building). Starting off with the positives the place is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The rooms are good size. The staff is very helpful and eager to please. There is a good utility sink and minifridge. Bottled water is provided every day. The internet access... More

Stayed for 5 days for a conference on site. For business visitors some things get tiring after a day or two: 1. Not the greatest quality gym equipment and not open 24hours 2. Lots of families and noise 3. Breakfast buffet is just ok. Busy. Lots of children and families. 4. No real bar. Just a lounge. 5. No coffee... More

I am confused that maybe these reviews are relating to two different hotels. The address is the rural location but many reviews relate to an urban location. Anyway, we went to the rural location by the lake and had a truly excellent 5* buffet meal. We are at odds with the Taiwanese cuisine, so this meal came as respite. There... More

I had a comfortable stay at the Lakeshore. Nice facilities--pool and gym were great! Wifi in my room was a bit patchy but my colleagues didn't have the same drama on different floors. I really liked the area. A small lake was just a 5 min walk up the hill. The lovely scenic 2.3km loop made for a pleasant afternoon... More

I'm staying in Lakeshore Apartments which adjoin the. Lakeshore hotel. I often dine in the. Lakeshore Hotel restaurants. Service is very good. Food is also good. I'm disabled and the help I've received is excellent. I've joined the leisure club, the same used by hotel guests. It's also very good. I highly recommend this place. I was warned about how... More

I've stayed in this hotel one night because of a business nearby. Actually, the reservation is made by the company with their corporate rate. This property is huge - with 3 separate buildings and lots of rooms. I do agree with the other reviewers that it may be better if you come with family rather than business because of the... More
