For what we had to pay, it was definitely worth it. The staff were most helpful and kind. We were given a junior suite for the price of a double room. The only inconvenience is the Internet: you need to buy vouchers that come in 2 or 4 hours and they are not cheap at all. They could consider offering... More

We came from the U.S. and stayed here with a group. Overall the hotel's lobby and grounds are very nice and beautiful, and the beds are nice too. The furniture and bathrooms are somewhat worn and could use some cleaning/touching up (for example, our shower curtain had mold at the bottom of it, yet the countertops were nice and spotless).... Spent a week at this Hotel on business. Being familiar with Sun International hotel standards, I was comfortable not to check for reviews here on tripadvisor before checking-in and was not disappointed at all. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The same applies for the bathrooms. It is indeed an old building, but well maintained. Except the lift that seriously... More

we stayed there for one night last May; let's not be so rough about this hotel; after all, this is Swaziland, not a rich country; we had a nice room, clean, with two double beds, but a non renovated bathroom; lots of people at the bar-discotheque, very noisy; but, we were impressed by the buffet supper, lots of choice, good... Stayed here for a week on a business trip. The Lugogo and Royal Swazi Sun are on the same property separated by some really nice woods that are good for a walk. Unfortunately, the hotel old, not well maintained and screaming for upgrades (hint ... it still has those CRT (tube) TVs!!!). Pools looked nice and I saw the staff... More

We have stayed at this hotel several times, sometimes as a couple and sometimes as an extended family. The overall impression is average - everything is average. Nothing special. It delivers basic accommodation, basic food, basic service (although helpful). If you are on a budget and don't really care where you sleep, this is the place to go for accommodation,... More

Sure, it's not the best hotel in the world but there was nothing to complain for. Good service, big room, nice swimming pool, good food. What else do we need in such a poor country ? We were pleased to stay there.

During my four day stay I was continually impressed with the helpfulness and cheerfulness of the staff. However, the overall quality of the hotel itself reminded me of the 1980s. Little to nothing has been done to upgrade the rooms in this hotel. The carpet made me wary and through out my stay I never felt comfortable to not wear... More

We have stayed in this hotel many times, our honeymoon was the first night 21 years ago. We are amazed at the friendly service we receive every time we come here. Good, clean rooms providing value for money. EXCELLENT restaurant and a home away from home.
