Stayed over on business for 2 nights recently. Generally the hotel needs some refurbishment - dated but clean. It is a very busy hotel with tour groups frequenting it very often. The meals are excellent, buffet style, but somewhat expensive - even the drinks in the bar come at a price. WiFi available for free up to a limit per... More

The hotel has a poor response time to room service request. Sometimes I had to call 3 times for the same request before getting a positive response. The only number that ever gets answered is the prompt response number 8

I stayed at the Lugogo for business for 4 weeks. The hotel decor and furnishing are quite dating but clean. The housekeeping staff is thorough and keeps up nicely. The pool is clean and well maintained. The restaurant is buffet. A but overpriced but a good selection although it doesn't change much day to day. The pub is nice and... More

After a long trip we were happy to have a shower but the drain oh the tube was not working at all: after few seconds the water was at the level of the knee. The maintenance manager took 40 minutes before he recognized that a room move was the only solution! The second room had anyway the same problem and... More

The hotel needs refurbishment. The restaurant does not cater for any special diets. The hotel rudely and without any forewarning blocked me from entering my room with my own food then on trying room service, the room service number rings and no one answers though there people at their stations. They allow anyone access to the room floors which makes... More

I stayed in the Lugogo Sun for 1 night. The room was Ok but needed some refurbishing (old TV, carpet full of stains). Also the bed sheets didnt seem a 100% clean. Internet quite a hassle as you need to constantly buy packages. Bar and restaurant are fair. Business center outside of the hotel so you need to take a... More

Stayed here as part of a tour through South-Africa and Swaziland, Arrived late in the afternoon and left again early next morning so didn't see much of the hotel except for the room and restaurant. Stayed in a twin room at the front of the hotel and were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the mountains from the balcony.... More

Bedroom very comfortable and good outlook over pool area and views across to the Ezulwini mountains, but bathroom dated. Very friendly staff and great buffet breakfasts. Dinner was good but wines very overpriced! Very well situated for day trips to Swazi craft markets, Malkerns valley and game parks. Poorly signposted if coming from Malkerns side.

On our way to Kruger National Park, our tour made a side trip to Swaziland and we stayed for one night at the Lugogo Sun Hotel in Ezulwini, Swaziland. We were told that the hotel is a renovated Holiday Inn hotel with a reasonably good golf course on one side and the swimming pool and spa on the other side.... More

Stayed one night here on a visit to Swaziland. I think all tourists do the same as the hotel was very busy but the food was good and the staff were helpful. The room (particularly the bathroom) badly needed refurbishing.
