We spent our first night here straight after landing at Colombo airport. Management is very friendly and helpful, they organized us a ride to Kandy and gave us hints for the beaches. The room was very clean and included a comfy king size bed. Apart from that there were two, three bars in walking distance! Perfect spot to start a... More

We stayed at Villa Araliya for one night having landed at Colombo airport around lunchtime, and before embarking on our travels around Sri Lanka the next day, therefore needing somewhere just to rest our heads for the night. The room was clean, fairly basic (in terms of appliances and facilities - but did have A/C and a mosquito net), and... More

The staff was super friendly, they think ahead. Before you ask for something, they already give you what you need, for example towels for the swimmingpool. They are always cleaning op working in the garden. They had very nice, clean AC rooms, relaxing pool area and simple, but good food. When you're here, you will be treated like a princess!... More

If you wan't to waste money u can go there, it's perfect. U can find all around, a better hotel for a very good price. The pick up from the airport is also very expensive : 30dollars for 10minutes! Take a taxi by yourself or another hotel. The boss is a very bad man, he just wants to do buisiness... More

The rooms here are lovely and large for the price and each have a veranda with chairs which we liked. Inside they are nicely decorated in the colonial style and ours was clean and well kept. The swimming pool is small but clean and well maintained. This was where we stayed for our first night in Sri Lanka and after... More

Villa Araliya was our perfect finish of a great Sri Lankan holiday. We stayed in a huge, well designed family apartment. The friendly and helpfull staff made our stay very peasant. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Plenty of tuktuks around to bring you everywhere you want. We visited the colorfull and bustling Negombo sunday market, a real treat.... More

Arriving at Colombo airport from London Heathrow flying through the night with little sleep, Villa Araliya was a great place to stay for our first night to relax and adjust to Sri Lankan time. we stayed in the family apartment which was really big and clean. The pool was lovely and the little restaurant/cafe did great food. (Sadly there was... More

We couldn't really fault this hotel. The room was nice and in good condition. We had a mosquito bet above the bed but this was expected. The pool was good and the staff friendly. The food at breakfast was good. We were only there for one night at the start of our Sri Lanka tour but found it a nice... More

Villa Araliya was the perfect start and finish to our holiday. It was a very relaxing place and a great introduction to Sri Lanka. The rooms are spotlessly clean and really comfortable, the pool a nice place to relax with a cold beer. The small restaurant is beside the pool and the rice and curry was lovely, as was breakfast.... Set up as a small village, with the pool in the center, this is a very pleasant and charming family hotel. They offer nice apartments and rooms. The apartments are spacious, well designed and very clean. In the "restaurant" the owner bakes excellent pizzas an bread. They also offer nice Si Lankan food. The owner and staff are very friendly.
