Camelot Beach Hotel is located in Negombo, just half an hour drive from Colombo International Airport. The hotel is situated in a peaceful area. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. with facilities to make tea or coffee. Found the staff quite friendly and hospitable. Food served was delicious with a variety of dishes and desserts. The swimming pool just across the restaurant... More

The rooms were reasonably comfortable . While we found the rooms and ambience acceptable, we were disappointed with the quality and range of food at the buffets . The beach is easily accessible and the pool area very nice .

We find this hotel quite agreeable, especially since the new wing and restaurant are finished. Staff doing its best to serve and they seem mostly to understand english. Good service. We stayed in room 137 in a new wing and although the free wifi was told only to work at the pool or in the lobby we could connect easily... More

Clean and neat room, friendly staff, beach facing pool and bar for a sunset drink and amazing food. Hotel is under renovation and things are looking like this hotel is going to be amazing after the make over. Good value for money.

the hotel location is excellent. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to the recreation manager mr. Upali if I'm not mistaken and the breakfast sous chef at the buffet. They make our stay with a smile. The very bad thing was the light interruption. We check in with our baby and she cry a lot due to... More

On the plus side, location is good, rooms are comfortable and clean and beachside loungers and seats are nice for a sunset drink or a couple of hours of lounging in the sun. On the negative side, the hotel is currently under renovation, so it's very noisy. Breakfast restaurant is very ugly and buffet very disappointing. Reception staff were not... More

We only stayed for one night at this location. It icludes a very nice swimming pool with a bar, right at the beach. It's located close to the city center, with a lot of restaurants and little stores. The quality of the food in the restaurant in the hotel was just oke but the interior is depressing, not cosy at... More

The 10,000 yen or less hotel in Negombo is only a hotel of terrible evaluation -- having been bit by ticks and hot water does not come out -- which obtains and carries out and is completely different from the photograph of a homepage. Under such circumstances, the Quest for Camelot beach hotel was Japanese yen conversion of 9000 yen,... More

I had booked another hotel online at Negambo, through Sri Lankan Airlines / Sri Lankan Holidays for one night stay. They sent an email saying the hotel I booked was not available and offered Camelot Beach Hotel, which I accepted. We had taken 2 rooms. My flight was supposed to arrive early morning. I requested for an early check-in for... More

If starting your tour from Negumbo and you need a driver, be sure to get hotel staff to put you intouch with Antonio Fernados. The best driver in Sri Lanka (dream tours). Safe, great value for money, reliable, fun, knowledgable and shows off the best Sri Lanka has to offer. He booked our hotels ahead for us, after we discussed... More
