CBH is my choice when it comes to staying in Negombo at low prices, but still getting good quality for money. If you think of Sri Lanka one thinks of white beaches, palm trees, blue ocean en serenity. Bot not in Camelot. Sure, the beach is white, the indian ocean blue and there are loads of palm trees. But there was also this 24/7 noise of bad popmusic in the open air bar and badly attempted amusement (magician show, disco, etc.).... more

Despite being a relatively modern hotel with two nice swimming pools, it is not the place to stay if you wish a relaxing beach holiday. During our 13th visit to Sri Lanka we stayed at the Camelot for the 1st time. It is a rather small hotel, but with very friendly staff. The rooms are okay, though the bathroom could do better.
