At first we stayed in a lovely clean and spacious Deluxe Room on the highest floor with a great beach view however, because of a problem with my ankle (no lift) it was suggested we move to a little villa in the beautifully kept tropical garden close the the fabulous pool. We accepted the offer (no extra charge) and were... More

I stayed here as a solo traveller for my long weekend in last July for 3 days. I enjoyed my holiday being here as the room provided was good enough for me and the hotel staff (front desk) were excellent. The restaurant is really good and provides good food, together with breakfast. However if you are little late for breakfast,... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 nights. We got it a good price via another website. The apartment was simple and spacious and had everything we had wanted. Fridge, TV, air con, Wifi and reasonable beds. The only negative for this apartment (20a - 20b) was that it was on the thoroughfare of the workers and cleaners.... More

Clean and helpful staff for an overnight stop. Food ok but not special . Beach pretty dirty though but good walk along to the north of the hotel. Rooms were clean and shower powerful and hot. Pool looked ok and position not too noisy even though next to road.

We stayed here because the truelly great geausthouse serendib was fully booked. The room was the most expencive we have booked in five weeks in Sri Lanka; it was a spacious room but run down. The staff is friendly. The morning manager was very friendly and we explained that our flight was around midnight, he offered that we could use... More

Pros: Close to airport Cons: See below. Stayed here for one night. I'm Surprised I even lasted that long. End of my 12 nights in Sri Lanka. Night before airport. Arrive mid afternoon, say goodbye to my driver and I'm brought a welcome drink. Waiter brings me double shot of rum. I'm surprised. I say really? For me? Best welcome... More

Fairly clean but basic accommodation. As with anywhere on the subcontinent, there may be some bugs to be put up with and equipment malfunctions but the staff seem to be willing to do quick repairs as required. The restaurant food is good and prices/portions reasonable. If possible, get a room away from the main road and it will be quieter!... More

We paid $55 for a mini-apartment (kitchen area with huge fridge!) including breakfast and it was a perfect place for our final two nights in sri lanka. We had a large room, lots of storage space and hangers to hang up your clothes. We also had a mini-veranda/porch area with table and chairs to sit out on. The staff were... More

Staff are very welcoming and always smiling. Rooms are pretty basic but very spacious and nice and clean, nice pool area and the chefs special (I chose prawn) was very very nice and cost around £4.50. I had the local fish for dinner and was a similar price. Breakfast is buffet style with eggs and omelette to order. Would be... More

I couldn't help but laughing at some of the bad reviews (typically written by Indians)... I am not sure what they expect from a budget transit hotel that typically caters for passengers who stay for less than 24 hours (maybe caviar and champagne on arrival?)... The Hotel isn't my idea of 'paradise' as rooms are basic but it is money... More
