After a long flight and a 10 hour stop over, having a relaxed evening when we arrived in Sri Lanka was a must! The owner picked us up from the airport and greeted us with a smile. The accommodation had everything we needed, simple, neat, spacious. We spoke long with Maniuush, who kindly gave us some insight on Sri Lankan... More

My parents and I recently stayed in Amaya chalets. It was around 15 minute from the airport so not far to travel to after a long-haul flight. We stayed in Chalet B; the living room was my favourite as the furniture was so comfortable and there was tea/coffee making facilities which I like to have in a room. The bedroom... More

Located only 15 minutes from the airport. Clean and comfortable rooms with wifi and decent enough bath room. Friendly owner was also helpful. Ideal for those in transit or wanting to stay close to the airport. Not sure there is much to see or do in Negombo though. Simple but effective.

I recently stayed at Amaya Chalets for four nights in November, and really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and spacious in a really beautiful and peaceful location in Negombo. The location is nice, being easy to access from the airport, and easy to get to the shops and the beach. It is run by a father and son... More

We are now for 2,5 months in asia but never experienced such insolence. To stay with the facts, we booked a double room for 2 nights with a private bathroom. But there was no fridge, no tv, no towels (promised in the description) and not even a private bathroom respectively only if no one is in the other room. When... More

I stayed at Amaya Chalets for three days from June 05 to June 08, 2013. It is an excellent accommodation in very peaceful surroundings at easy distance from Negombo Beach and Bandranayake International Airport, though a bit far from Colombo City. The Chalets are spacious and clean with separate sitting and dining areas and a well decorated lawn. The best... More

We spent our two first nights in Sri Lanka in this charming, peaceful place. It really helped us relax after a long trip. It's a short tuc tuc ride away from the busy beaches of Negambo but it's worth being a little away from the noisier ressorts for the first few nights Mainly what we appreciated was the kind ,... The room given to me was pathetic to say the least. There was no airconditioning, and the fan was slow. I had to open the window and thus swarmed with mosquitoes. The mosquito net was dusty and I had difficulty breathing. My whole sleep was ruined. The bathroom was dingy and the water supply was poor for the shower I... More

We would like to thank the guest of his opinion even though we strongly disagree to his view, At the time of booking we state that the room is without AC and breakfast is not included for the price of 28US$ – He had the option of ordering breakfast with an extra charge, We never had a problem with fan...
