An ideal location next to the sea, nice to sit and listen to the sea crashing against the rocks !!. We came to the light house primarily to go whale watching but unfortunately the sea was too rough but that gave us a good chance to relax and use the lovely big swimming pool. This hotel is gifted as it was designed by great Architech Geoffrey Bawa. Ethnic Srilankan Architechure blended with great sea view makes it a wonderful place to be. Food is not that good but breakfast is nice and great.A spa with a large poolside area adjacent to a private beach makes it a unique place. more

Galle is a very small place on the southern tip of Sri Lanka. The Lighthouse is a nice place and is right on the beach. Teh road from Colombo to galle is also very picturesque.
