I stayed 2 nights here. It is in the ideal location in Galle. Right in the middle of the old fort. Only 15 minutes walk to bus and rail station. Family run, all of whom are very helpful and obliging. Very pleasant stay

We spent two nights at this guest house in January. We considered it reasonable value for the location. The guest house is in the middle of Galle Fort, walking distance to all the excellent restaurants and beautiful shops Galle has to offer. Our room was a decent size, with good air conditioning. The bathroom was fine, with good hot showers.... More

The Rooms have no daylight(you look At a wall in the living room) they smell like molt realy bad and the window goes to the living room of the owners.( When they switch on their light at 5am, you have light). While the room on offer on the online sites was US$44, we turned up on spec (December 24th) and paid 3500 LKR for the double room with aircon at the back of the property. This has a small balcony ( you could dry clothes, but not sit out there) and a private bathroom. Hot water shower with good pressure and... More

The room was perfect, in a brilliant location and the family who own the building we're very friendly. We stayed 1 night at a more expensive hotel in Galle and we're very happy to find Millenium Rest where we spent our remaining 3 nights in Galle.

The owners of this guesthouse is a local couple, they are very friendly and helpful. I booked the normal room through agoda but when I arrived, all the normal rooms were occupied and the owner allowed me to stay in the rooftop room without charging me extra $. Although I only stayed there for one night, I felt everything was... More

The Millenium is in the best location within the fort. The place is spotlessly clean. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is strong with good hot water. The rooms are extremely clean and the owner of the hotel and gem store is very friendly and helpful with whatever you might need. I would not stay anywhere else in... More

Room was clean and tidy. Horrible view from the room of walls. Worst thing is, there was no curtain or even a privacy screen. I had to wedge towels over the balcony door. I could see people downstairs from my door, so they could definitely have seem me. Not convinced that having the plug socket right underneath the shower is... More

Wonderful owner, very obliging (even to let us in at midnight on arrival, we were greeted with smiles). We had the top room for 3 nights and found it to be extremely clean yet basic but all you really need. Lovely clean home. Would definitely recommend as best place to stay on a budget. Thank you Millennium Resort and Gems!

We stayed in the rooftop room here for 3 nights and had a lovely stay. For a basic room, it was spotless, filled with light, and had lovely views of the church and ocean. The family was courteous, helpful, and gave us our privacy.
