This place has a lot of potential but is unfortunately let down by its staff, who have very limited English and are poorly trained. Price tag not really justified. Pros - Lovely open-air lobby and restaurant - Comfortable rooms overlooking the beach - Great shower – lots of pressure and never ran out of hot water - Great massage at... More

Temple Tree Resort and Spa Nice hotel with a large swimming pool. The restaurant is airy. The food is expensive. Room is nice. Nice view of the beach and sea. No shower gel or box of tissue paper. TV channels is limited. All the 3 lady receptionists are nice with nice PR skills. A couple of surly staff which we... More

We were fascinated by the pictures on the web and decided to plan a stay there for our anniversary celebration. I called them a couple of times to verify few details before making the reservation. I was asked to send a mail to the hotel manager. I had to call him and insist him to reply me for my mails... More

The Hotel is beautifaul. The Staff is very nice. The Pool-Boys are funny and do a great job! The Service Staff has really to improve the Wine Service and knowlege of a professionell Service. The Food was good. The Rooms are very nice. The Massage Options are too expensive. The price is a bit too expensive. We had a good... More

Loved Temple Trees. This is a tiny hotel in Induruwa - so expect it to be slightly different from the big ones all around the Sri Lankan coast. The rooms were lovely and consisted of good furniture and appliances. All rooms come with a balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean. A huge plus point is the hot tub in the bathrooms.... More

We stayed here for two nights. The staffs(esp receptionists) were very nice and friendly. They arranged a tuktuk for us and got a good driver who took us around induruwa and we also did some shopping. The beach is just so close and less touristy( that is what we wanted). I really recommend this hotel.

Dealbreakers The adjoining property is a construction site. As in the adjoining wall to our room. The TT website now acknowledges the construction, but did not at the time of our booking, nor were we notified. Although the website states “HEAVY PILE DRIVING, FOUNDATION AND CONCRETE WORK” has now been completed, there was enough bashing, crashing and construction noise to... More

On the positive side, we really enjoyed the location and the beach at Temple Tree. Rooms and facilities are lovely, especially the beach. Some key basics were missed however which were very annoying. Hot water is run on a solar system (excellent!) but we were staying in high season, the hotel was full, the solar heated water ran out and... More

I sent my wife on a all girl trip and was worried about her safety. This resort sets the standard on how to run a boutique resort. At night My wife and another woman were out dining at a shack/restaurant by the beach next to the hotel. All the time there was a security guard from the resort stood a... More

Small ten room boutique hotel. Visited with a friend. Rooms are great modern wooden flooring with an open all glass bathroom which has a huge tub with a sea view. Seperate shower cubicle again with a distant sea view . Seperate toilet area. Though the bathroom being all gglass is slightly tough to use if the other person opens the... More
