Although there are many 5 star hotels in Seogwipo none are better placed than the Hyatt Regency. The hotel is right next to the beach which is reached via a set of steps. The beach is perhaps more look and paddle than swim I felt and indeed there was a lone surfer enjoying the waves when I visited. The sand... More

My wife and I stayed in the Hyatt Regency for 5 nights when we attended the wedding of some friends in Jeju. The stay started very well. We had decided to treat ourselves with hotel limo transfer. We were efficiently met on arrival from Beijing and were pleasantly surprised that, rather than the normal BMW, Audi or the likes the... More

don't forget to allow additional time to explore the hotel grounds and neighboring beach. the service staff are both professional attitude and sharply dressed, but be patient as the service times are very slow.

Excellent food for a family lunch, Chinese chicken noodle soup was very good as was the service provided by serving staff. Wonderful views of the beach and breakers. And... Good value. The south coast of Jeju has many interesting sights, unique culinary choices and dramatic coastline. The nearby rock formations including lava flows the lonely rocks and waterfalls in tropical... Very nice and cozy place to stay. The location is great. The staff are very kind and willing to help the customers at any time at any place. The only suggestion is the imminent renovation as the facility is a bit old.

We spent one night here in May 2015. Beautiful setting and the people were fantastic...except in the restaurant. A hamburger is about $25 and not so good, service was very slow, and there were insects everywhere - unbelievable. The hotel is lovely but a little past its prime...but still nice. Would definitely recommend staying but don't even set foot in... More

Stayed at this property in May 2015 while attending a conference at the ICC Jeju. First time on the island and enjoyed the magnificent views. The hotel lobby is impressive, open atrium. Staff is efficient but had difficulty understanding our requests. Rooms are well-appointed, great beach/ocean view, outstanding shower (excellent pressure) and amenities. The main downside is the lack of... More

This was my first time at hyatt menu. I usually only stay at spg hotels as I am a platinum member there but my stay at this hotel may change my allegiance. I travelled with my family - wife, 4 kids, my last being 10 months old, and my dad. The hotel staff did a wonderful job taking care of... More

Great stay, location and service, except for some hairs found in bed (long black hair on pillow) and in the bathroom. Although the hotel lobby and common areas were nicely refurbished, the rooms were not up to par, more like an 80s feel to them. All in all not too bad though, and I am sure it could be a... More

Stayed there for two nights attending a medical conference. Hotel is celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, room are old style but really well appointed and clean. Ocean view rooms offer stunning sea view with balcony. Club lounge is quiet and cozy. Sunset wine hour is good with varieties if canapes to choose from. The garden outside the hotel is... More
