Jeju is a very beautiful island in South Korea. Shilla hotel is the best place to stay in Jeju. It is a wonderful hotel with all amenities. I stayed Shilla Cheju hotel in December, 2006. We arrived at night and really tired. The check-in was super kind and fast. We tried to tip the bell but he kindly declined and said it was the policy. I went to the Shilla Hotel as part of an international workshop. The room was wonderful with a beautiful view of the ocean and the well kept gardens. The amenities were what you would expect from a luxury hotel: great water pressure in the shower, slippers, large beds, etc. The restaurants are superb with a substantial vegetarian selection.
