Gyeongju is a must see place in South Korea where the history of this beautiful land surfaces and materializes in many cultural heritage sites. The lake next to town is one of the country's most popular water sport destinations, it even has a amusement park at its shores. A place to stay can be the Commodore hotel, it is just... More

This is a nice hotel with a friendly staff. Rooms were clean and we had a nice view of the lake. I dislike having to put the door key in the slot to turn on the lights but that seems to be common in korea. it's very annoying since if you have to get up at night you turn on... More

Stated 5 star hotel, but was one of the worse room I ever stayed. Opened the door on my left is the bath room. Old bath tub with old slightly yellowish 2 inched tiles layed scross the bathroom. Vanity top was wooden thickly old painted. 3 single bed was in the room. All bed was Shaky as if you would... More

We checked into this hotel on our first night in Busan. Looking for switches to brighten the room ended up in vain. We have to open our big luggage on the desk with the table lamp so that we could find the things we needed. There were three single beds provided for the two of us. The room looked old... More

The rooms are OLD and absolutely need renovation. The restaurant is Ordinary, and staff COLD. The Only Good thing about the hotel is the View of the Bomun lake, which is very nice. But the windows cannot be opened to enjoy the beautiful autumn breeze.

The first half of July is clearly a low season for this hotel and probably this whole resort area. The outdoor swimming pool was empty (they started to fill it for the season while we were there), the bar had nobody in it whenever we passed (except for 2 entertainers valiently battling through a set to an empty room), and... We stayed in this hotel for one night for a brief stay in Gyeongju. The hotel is situated by a lake where a number of the hotels seem to be rather than in the actually town itself. This isn't too much trouble as frequent buses depart from just outside. The hotel is quite dated although it was fine for our... More

I stayed here with my family during a vacation to Korea. While we enjoyed visiting the sights around Gyeongju, we found the hotel to be nothing spectacular. The rooms were adequate, but there were some small annoyances. The light and a/c controls were baffling, and we found ourselves simply having to unplug lights before we figured out how to turn... Stayed one night (booked by travel agents). The hotel is quite dated and has some major flaws. The walls are paper-thin - you can hear conversations in adjacent rooms and noise in the hallways (often the hotel staff). Rooms are very dimly lit and you can barely find your way around. There is no hotel directory with instructions on how... More

Great location in Bomun Lake Resort right on the lake. Location is ideal for trips to Bulguksa temple and Seokguram grotto. Buses to downtown (#10 and 11) and to KTX station (#700, also stopping at temple) stop right in front of hotel. Compared to other hotels in this sea, this hotel is ok for one night, but needs some updating,... More
