I can't say that it's the best place in Korea but it's for sure a very good place. The breakfast is very generous, the owner was very nice and helpful. The location is also pretty good, a walking distance from the touristic attractions and not far from the center and from the market. I would recommend this place if you're... More

The place seems to cater mainly to young koreans on hiking trips in the area, so you can get all the information you need first-hand. Also, the owner is very helpful. Breakfast is included, even eggs! In walking distance to the train-station and the bus for Bulguksa stops across the street.

The owners of this hostel are horrible people. I called them to make a reservation for two nights. First of all they quoted a higher price than online. They confirmed me the reservation on the phone. After I arrived around 8pm, they told me they don't have my booking and even claimed they never talked to me, although I showed... More

The hostel is really well located first of all. It is a couple of minutes from the station and easy to find. They have a good common area inside. The staff were really friendly and kind and chatted with us, shared drinks and just generally made us feel welcome and comfortable. Definite recommendation if you are ever in Gyeongju

Stayed here recently with some friends and had a great experience. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and generous, they made the stay really enjoyable. The hostel itself has everything you'd expect. Definitely one of the better hostels I've stayed in.

The hostel is located by the station, which is perfect for transportation to all the sights. The dolmen and restaurants are a short walk away and bikes are available to rent from the hostel. The hostel is very sociable, with a large communal area inside and outside and eggs, bread and pretzels available all day. The staff are very friendly,... More

i was here for 1 night only during April 2014 and would definitely come back to Gyeongju again. The price is acceptable, 18,000 won for a bed in 4 persons room. Good thing is that the bathroom is attached so you don't need to go out for shower like hostel. You have to bring your own amenities as GJ guesthouse... More

Visited Gyeongju twice for the cherry blossoms, but the first time to stay overnight in Gyeongju. Since we traveled by normal train (not the KTX) from Busan Haeundae to Gyeongju, so we choose to stay at the Gyeongju Guest House, the location is fantastic, just right next to the Gyeongju train station by less then 2 mins walk. Bus stop... More

I met a lot of really nice people here. The owner cares for people who travel alone very well and eventually makes them get to know each... More

Near gyeongju station just for 5 minutes walk only. Good facilities, free wifi and bicycle rent for 50% even for a day. Private bathroom area is big, not bad for a room to have locker inside. Eventhough bus station need 20 minutes walk but taxi share actually cheap around 3000 won. And last, patient and friendly owner is what all traveller... More
