Decent resort with spacious rooms; each room is an efficiency unit with all required cooking utensils, Some rooms (on one side) has a beautiful view of the lake and theme park, with a very large heated pool and a wave pool. Hotel located in a very scenic area. However, large bath towels are provided in this resort. A good theme... More

We were here as part of a tour and our guide pre-warned us that in Korea, "resort" are hotels that the local families go when they want to take a weekend/quick holiday break. Hence, there may not be towels, shampoos and other normal hotel amenities as the locals usually bring their own. Our room overlooked the gorgeous lake and was... More

We are a group of six senior citizen ladies. Before the trip, we have asked our travel agents that we need beds and not futon as one of us had a recent spinal operation and three with knees problems (OA). The tour agent managed to get only one bed for the oldest ie over 80 years old. We check in... More

We stayed here with a tour 2 nights in the end of September 2013. The Aqua park was fun and you could use it for whole day by yourself !! Before leaving it for dinner I went to the hot side - same sex hot pool like onsen. In Japan, everyone are supposed to clean up well before getting in nude.... More

1/2 a star or less. We're on a cross-country tour. Got in late checked out early. No time to use any of the spa features. All the hotel resources are directed toward the spa. My dsughter and three other tour members got food poisoning from a meal eaten before we arrived. There were zero resources, not even bottled water or... More

The building is nice, the staff seem pleasant enough, the location is great and the rooms are typical condo hotel rooms as so readily mentioned previously. The rooms are clean, but sparse. We had two different rooms, one with a bed, one without. The Koreans that are accustomed to sleeping on the floor are probably OK with the lack of... More

I would stay at another hotel for this price. God forbid anyone here suffers anything from mild food poisoning to a heart attack. You will recieve absolutely no help. You're on your own. My mother fell very ill and there are absolutely no pharmacies around. Called the front desk for help. They suggested that I call another extension (they didnt... More

The hotel was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The service is typical condo-style, which means not really anything. There wasn't even daily housekeeping. You had to call for new towels (though they were very quick). You don't even get water, juice or coffee, which are typical items free in most cheap Korean motels. The aqua park is... More

If you can afford to stay Hilton Hotel or Hyundai Hotel in Gyeongju, they will offer better qualities. Except those two hotels, Daemyung resort is the best choice near Bomun lake. Suite room has two rooms, two toilets, a kitchen, and a living space. It can easily accomodate up to six to eight persons though the resort limits maximum occupancy... More
