Rooms tired and stained. Shower was terrible. Staff was barely helpful. Breakfast was very expensive and not very tasty. Bed was comfortable but there was no top sheet. I hope that they clean the blankets between guests. If not yuck. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

In general the hotel is nice and right in the heart of Daegu. The rooms are nicely appointed but the size are too small, so avoid having an extra bed in your standard room, you wont be able to walk and hardly able to open your suitcase. The room amenities are nice, they provide a toner and face moisturizer in... More

Before it seems as if I'm bashing the place here a some good points the location is probably the best in the city minutes away from anything you want. There is a subway station and a bus stop right outside of the doors which make for easy commute. The service was crappie they would wait until I would leave the... More

The grand hotel has nice rooms, but the staff was generally unenthusiastic and when I complained about the room being overheated, the didn't even even respond with an apology. I wouldn't recommend it.

We participated in a congress in Daegu with a delegation of 40 persons. We had rooms in The Grand for 5 nights. The hotel was a bit shabby, but most suppricing was the attitude / behaviour of the personnell. The expeciense was supprocing. All other service encountes in Korea where very positive, but at the Grand the personnel did not... More

I stayed here a day so my review is based on my first and mostly likely last stay at the hotel. I agree with one of the reviewers that the service is not up to par with its status. As I was checking in, no one asked whether I was there to check in. When approached the desk and asked... More

This is quite a nice hotel, old but still stately and well kept. We stayed on the executive floor. The room was neat, clean and spacious. But as another reviewer had pointed out, the staff were a little cold; polite but distant. My 6yo got her ankle caught in the revolving door, and the staff actually looked somewhat annoyed! One... This is once of the older but very nice hotels in Daegu. Prices are reasonable, rooms are clean and comfortable. It is located on subway line 2 in he Beommo area which has some nice coffee houses and restaurants right outside the door. Staff us professional and courteous..parking onsite is free. This is a very clean, safe and comfortable hotel!

- Stayed one night as part of a tour in Korea. Rooms were small but comfortable. We had a water cooker in the room but without coffee or teabags at our disposal, maybe you have to bring them yourselves. We had dinner in this hotel, buffet style, which was excellent. Same for the breakfast buffet. Very nice.
