If you are going to Lava tubes the location is good! But the small beach town around the place don't have nothing much. There is just one ATM and one shop. I spent three nights at Joseph Tree House( August 2012.) It was a lovely stay. Joseph himself is a very sweet man who was so helpful and accommodating. We spent 2 nights in Joseph Tree's dorm and we really enjoyed our stay there. The dorms (one for women, one for men : 12 beds each) and bathrooms are clean and the common room and garden are very pleasant.
