traditional design building is impressive. The hotel did show aging but was maintained quite well. The rooms were decently sized and the beds were plush (hard to get soft mattresses in Korea) Although, there weren't many places to see close to the hotel but all were within close taxi rides. I chose the hotel as it was close to the... More

The hotel looks really impressive, but the girls at the front desk are rude, washroom smells, beds are really uncomfortable. No wifi in the room?! And I paid $160 USD plus tax per night? Do not recommend this hotel to anybody. I'd better to stay in Tokyo inn next time.

I was impressed with the classical old architecture of the hotel. Room is spacious and clean. Quite nicely located with plenty of restaurants and shops near by. Service courteous and efficient. Like most hotels in Korea, bring your own bath soap and tooth brush & paste. WiFi provided.

It pays to read reviews from fellow travelers. From Tripadvisor, I was able to choose this hotel which is centrally located. The room is big enough with complete toiletries, big flat screened TV, computer and fridge. Linens and towels looked new. Each room is equipped w/ a steam bath . Restaurants and shopping centers are just within the area. Breakfast... More

its an impressive hotel to first see and gives the real feeling of being in Korea - even the cheaper rooms have good views of the hill at the back - but the harbour views are fantastic. its a short walk to the main shopping and restaurant district. there is a good choice of food with three restaurants - western,... A large hotel, built in a traditional Korean palace style. It is not exactly in the center, but there are good bus connections. The room was large, not exactly typical for Korea, and well equipped. The lobby and staircase beautifully inspired by ancient Korean architecture. Two restaurants, and, if it gets late, you can get something good to eat at... More

I have stayed at this hotel during earlier business trips but it has gone down over the years. The rooms are tired looking and the carpets filthy. Bath rooms are smelly and rancid. Staff at reception are rude and impatient. This hotel is used a lot by ships agents who book ships crews and the agents must be getting a... More

Hotel looks is quite impressive & traditional. Room service is not even up to the mark. No toothbrush & paste is available. No saving kit there. Wifi available only at lobby. Cable Internet is available at room but on charge. In this days of technology which is unexpected. Buffet breakfast is good. But one more thing this hotel is quiet... More

Booked here for one night last weekend, as we had an event on at the nearby Haeundae Hotel, and left it too late to get a room there. Arrived mid afternoon, and the Hotel was quite busy. The hotel looks really impressive from the outside, but is quite tired looking on the inside and now in need of a renovation,... More
