I stayed at this hotel on points for one night in the area. It is very conveniently located across the street from SUNY Albany just off the thruway and I-90. We stayed at The Courtyard Albany Thruway for only one night on October 17, 2009. The girl at check-in was probably the BEST person I have ever encountered at a Marriott resort. Stayed here on the way through town. Hotel was as you'd expect from a Marriott Courtyard. Everything was clean, operable, safe. I'm not often in Albany, but I would stay here again. more

It was an okay stay. My room was roomy but I didn't like the bathroom since there was stain on the floor. The service was good. Everyone on the front desk seemed to be willing to help. I might go back to this hotel in the future as long as I get a room with cleaner bathroom. more

There's nothing plush about this Courtyard, but you can't beat the location -- it's 15 minutes from the airport, near the junction of the Thruway and other interstates, and only 15 minutes from downtown Albany. Rooms are surprisingly quiet, given the hotel's location sandwiched in between the Thruway and a major boulevard. Problems: There's only one small elevator serving the... more

This hotel is very convenient to get to off I-87 and I-90. It is located directly across from SUNY at Albany and a short drive to downtown Albany. Even though our room faced I-90, we couldn't hear the traffic at all. The rate was very reasonable and worth every penny! We were extremely pleased with the service and staff. Check-in... more
