We got an excellent night's sleep in a quiet, clean room ground floor level, street side. Instead of driving 12 hours one day we split our trip - this was a midpoint. I was concerned about noise since when we were unloading a plane flew over very low. Once inside - never heard another outside sound. Slept comfortably and arrived... More

Stayed here when my wife was coming in on a late night flight. Stayed in a 1st floor room, one of the Superior 1 King rooms. Room was clean and had what appeared to be relatively new composite wood floors, with the usual in room amenities, including a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Bed was comfortable enough, and there was... More

It is an affordable hotel but like most things that you can pay for without breaking the bank it comes with some trouble. The Good: Courteous Staff, the maids were friendly and left extra towels when we requested, and the front desk staff tried to always accommodate us with any problems we had. The Bad: You'll find shady characters staying... More

This site was not nice at all. While it is close to the airport and the noise was quite loud. The room was dirty and had a stale odor. The AC worked but the smell coming from the unit was moldy. This hotel needs lots of help to get it up to par. I was so glad we didn't stay... More

The receptionist at check in was exceptional. Tried to get us the most accommodating room, suggested places to visit and if we had any questions about the area (top notch employee in my eyes). Got a nice room near the elevators which made it easy in and out with my dog. Large do walking area out back. VERY safe area...tons... More

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn on our way to Boston. Really enjoyed our first visit. We encountered no issues and the Front Desk staff were helpful and and polite. We ate at the Olive Garden which was next door so after being on the road for a while we did not have to drive. We had a room... More

Let's face it: traveling with dogs is hard. Few hotels offer accommodations for dogs and fewer offer them for dogs over 25 pounds. When we head to Albany, we usually have a dog with us so Red Roof is the only viable option. They are working hard to improve this hotel and I have seen a marked difference in the... More

I questioned staying here once I checked Trip Advisor but have to say we had no issues except our tub did not drain, and I told the gal that at checkout. It is a basic motel and good enough for overnight on our way to New York City, as we came in late and left early. Yes we could hear... More

Ok. So I'm a truck driver and my truck broke down and got towed to the dealership here in Albany on August 1st. Unfortunately, it's the weekend and apparently horse racing season. Most of the hotels were full. My company put me up at this hotel for $100 per night for 3 nights. So it's after midnight when my fiance... More

Arrived late, overnight in July 2014 and went straight to bed. Found the room to look fairly clean, but as the morning unfolded, discovered many issues. Decided to make a coffee only to find a dead bug amongst the coffee supplies. The lamp on the table was broken and hanging only by its wires; very dangerous. The toilet had stains... More
