We stayed at Paradise Sun for just two nights after arriving at nearby La Reserve to discover they had overbooked. We were hot, tired and unhappy by the time we arrived at Paradise Sun, but after an initial delay with our room we were generally impressed. Our room, though close to the beach, was also close to the road. There... more

The rooms are spacious -- bedroom, dressing room, bathroom and large terrace with deck chairs. The garden and ocean views were beautiful and it is located on a long white sand beach --excellent for taking walks. The food is good -- but it is half-board which means that you generally eat more than you should. There was ample choice. It... more

We were on honeymoon, and were not sure what to expect, from the time we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed with cheerful staff and welcome drinks. We were assisted to our room. We had the best room, right on the beach, room no 23. The rooms were spacious, clean with fresh linen. The breakfast was always good and the... more

After staying in a 5* hotel in Mauritius and then coming to Paradise Sun it was a bit of a let down. We wanted something a bit more luxurius for our honeymoon but some of it is a bit run down and more suited to families. Make sure to take Euros to the Seychelles as this is the currency that... more

Our stay at Paradise Sun was the second leg in our honeymoon after the Hilton Seychelles on Mahe. We stayed at the Paradise Sun for 4 nights from the 20th to the 24th. So coming from that 5 star luxury to Paradise Sun was an adjustment, and it was difficult not to compare the two. On the whole Paradise Sun... more

We really enjoyed our 6 nights at Paradise Sun. The beach and the grounds were very beautiful. When we first arrived we were in a room far from the ocean and asked to be moved closer. The next day they moved us right to the front. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Overall the experience was wonderful. We'd... more

Well, after 2 nights in Mahe and 3 nights at Desroches Island, I became accustomed to, not just "surly", but sometimes downright rude treatment by most of the staff with exception of a very nice beach bartender. The short man renting kayaks to us tried to explain that we not go to "St Anne", but we really couldn't understand him.... more

We spent a fabulous10 day holiday at the Paradise Sun in April 2008 and would certainly visit again. My husband and I booked a Deluxe ‘family’ room and would recommend spending the extra to do this. The room was spacious and very well appointed with a lovely lounge area and a great bathroom with double sinks, large shower and freestanding... more

We spent 10 days at the Paradise Sun Hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. The location on Praslin island is really good, and the beach is just wonderful - in fact one of the best at Praslin. The hotel is very nice and standard is high, and I would call it controlled luxury. The rooms (deluxe) are spacious, with... more
