We stayed at La Roussette in August 2014. Due to a flight with a very early departure, we had to stay in Mahe for 1 night and chose this hotel due to its location near the airport. When we checked in, we regretted that we would only stay 1 night and not longer. The receptionist was a very friendly guy... More

Our stay at La Rousette Hotel was thee most relaxing two weeks ever! We stayed over the monsoon season end June beginning July. Not too much rain as it only lasted a few mins at a time but then back to the hot heat of the sun. We had a great time, spent playing volley ball, playing board games, walked... More

We are a family of 5 adults and stayed at La Rousette for 2 weeks during the Monsoon seasons end June / beginning July. During wet weather we were quite comfortable to stay at the Hotel and relax as a family, playing cards and pool games like volley ball .Our rooms were clean, comfortable and beautifully made up every day... Dear Dawn, Thank you for the kind comments about Hotel La Roussette. You are what we call in our industry a "repeater" guest. Having been in the travel trade for over 12 years, I feel that some of the comments/reviews, are unfair and unfounded. I for one, believe that La Roussette is a lovely, quaint and charming family run hotel. The Robert family have run the hotel for many years, and the son Ronald has taken up the reigns a few years back.... More

Having being delayed getting into Mahe, we had to overnight somewhere prior to getting our connection to Praslin. The tour operator arranged for us to stay here. Upon arrival at circa 9PM, there was no option for dinner as we had missed it. We had a couple of drinks then went to bed. The rooms were clean and tidy with... More

This mini hotel is good value for money- amenities are clean and "fresh". We found the service levels to be personalised with the receptionist going out of her way to ensure that we were settled in despite booking in late in the evening. The hotel is ideal for a 1 or two night stop and is 10 mins from the... More

Really good place with friendly and helpful staff. You can feel that staff is constantly worried about your well being. The manager is ready to help in unexpected situations - he gave us a lift when the road was closed and we were late to the ferry. Staff adapts to your daily rhythm - eating and room cleaning is always... More

Totally over priced. Does not worth to stay there. We arrived late (around 7:30pm) and there was no option for dinner but in the hotel restaurant since the hotel is isolated upon a hill. We were charges for a piece of fish, steam rice about 30eur/ea. total ripof. Has been probably the most expensive light meal ever paid in seychelles... More

After many consecutive positive traveler reviews about our Hotel in the last few months, it is disheartening to get such a negative review. However, no matter how aggrieved one may feel, one has to sometimes “take it on the chin” as the saying goes and push forward. We shall take the positive parts of this review (such as the cleanliness... More
