With a beachfront villa you get direct access to one of the most beautiful beaches. Everything is there to get an isolated beach holiday: super rooms, in-house team bath; jacuzzi, swimming pool, great spa, gym area. All great. Some elements makes us decide not to give the maximum score: - The price of the buffet is beyond the value of... More

This is my second stay at a Banyan Tree (first was at Al Wadi in Ras Al Khaimah, see my review) and oddly enough both experiences were quite similar. We stayed at the Banyan Tree for 4 nights and got quite familiar with most of the facilities in addition to the room. The quick and short version is that this... More

We spent 4 nights at the hotel as a part of our honeymoon and we thought it was amazing. As a honeymoon couple we received some lovely extras like a champagne on arrival and coconut water, as well as romantic turn down with flower petals, lots of candles and wine. The honeymoon perks made our stay very special. STAFF: It’s... More

First impressions were very good. We opted for the Upgraded Room (Pool Villa by the Rocks) it was extremely nice and had the perfect view although during some of the day was shaded out by the trees so we didn't use our own pool at all during our stay unless you like being in the shade. Hot Tub was lovely... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in late July, 2014. Previously stayed at Banyan Tree Mayakoba so we were familiar and happy with the brand. ROOMS: We booked a Hillside villa but were upgraded to a Beach front room for some reason. This was really fantastic and very much appreciated. We visited the hillside room we would have had and... We stayed last year and thought it was excellent. This year I'm afraid we give it 'very good'. It appears there is no visible management, prices have risen considerably, it's looking tired round the edges and service can be slow. Last year we complained about the gym equipment and were told that new equipment was 'arriving soon'. This year the... More

Overall this is an axing resort. It's hard to say what's the best aspect of this hotel. It's located at one of the best beaches in Mahe. The plantation style architecture lies in perfect harmony with the lush jungle and white beaches. Even though our Villa was the farthest away form the main pool area, the 5min buggy ride through... While the seychelles are incredibly beautiful, my husband and I were disappointed with the service that we received. The staff overall was not friendly and lacked regard for time (causing us to almost miss our flight). The food was adequate, but nothing great. We expected more for a supposed 5 star resort, but our trip was wonderful due to the... More

We stayed at the Banyan Tree Seychelles on Mahé for nearly a week surrounding our 5th anniversary on the 27th of June, 2014. Everything from beginning to end was divine. Our room was enormous, and the adjoining private garden ever larger, containing a huge plunge pool, a delightful hot tub with a running fountain, a covered patio with a sofa,... More
