We are here as part of a prepaid tour, so to give benefit of the doubt is that we probably got the worst rooms in the hotels. Though definitely none of the 24 people in our group got those balconies facing the galilee sea. We don't have kettle, so buy your own water for sure. some don't even hv shower... More

Christmas vacation we decided to visit Israel. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and it was great. Get up in the morning after a comfortable night's sleep to the great view of the Sea of Galilee, Great breakfast, delicious and so rich. Who needs lunch? Walks in Tiberias area and back to the hotel to an amazing dinner... More

A different and unique hotel perched on a cliff with amazing views overlooking Lake Kinneret. Facilities are great, complete with swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, restaurant and complimentary bomb shelter. Located in the older bit of town, its about a 10/15 min walk to town. You can sit in the open air bar lobby and relax listening to the residential pianist,... More

Happy to hear others had a great view of the Sea of Galilee. Even that couldn't have made up for the rudeness encountered by several in our group. To be fair, the buffet was fine, however the staff seemed less than interested in taking care of guests. We paid for Internet connectivity but had to ask for a refund because... More

The hotel was clean, good service, near tourist sites, buffet breakfast choices as well as dinner buffet with various choices. Hotel accommodated a large group of us by extending a late dinner upon our return from a late tourist attraction visit.

This was our Holy Land tour hotel for 3-nights in the Galilee area. First, the views overlooking the Sea of Galilee were great. The staff was very helpful with our bags and prepared for our tour group check-in. On the other hand, the food was just average and pool hours were limited to the times we were out touring. The... We travelled by car from Tel Aviv to Tiberias and whilst we made good time the hotel is a nightmare to find as it is actually outside the main town by about 0.5km. On arrival it was manic with a group checking in and we were not offered assistance with our bags. There was also a very rule male manager... More

Stayed here with a group of Pilgrims touring the Holy Land. Views were beautiful. Food was acceptable and the Bar area was welcoming, especially after a day on a tour bus! Staff were courteous and efficient. Why do hotels still charge for Wi-Fi access.it is so penny pinching. If you go on to the terrace outside the Bar it's possible... More

We spent a shabbos here at the Golan. It's a quiet hotel, comparing to some of the "busier" places along the Kineret Route to the east of Tiberias. We got the "less extravagant" room with no balcony, but for the 3 of us, it felt quite spacious as there's a little "alcove" of privacy in between our beds and each... More
