We loved our time at Hotel Golan! From the front desk to the restaurant/bar employees, everyone we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice sized and clean on the inside, although the windows needed some cleaning on the outside. The view of the Sea of Galilee from our room was amazing though! The breakfast and dinners were... More

We stayed as part of a pilgrim group so location was good for the various sights we wanted to see. Hotel food was very good - both breakfasts and evening meals especially the salads. Rooms were not clean at all. The carpet had not been hoovered. The bathroom was dirty especially the bath - it needed a good scrub. Rooms... More

The Golan Hotel is on the heights of Tiberias and, for that reason, offers a very nice view. The swimming pool is also very good, with the same nice view. The only "problem" is that the hotel is a little far from the city and you cannot do anything without a car. All the others good hotels are located more... More

Claiming to be a 4* hotel but definitely not a 4* hotel or a 4* experience. The photos online are nothing like the rooms in reality. They claim that they all have views of the lake but the rooms given were facing a dirt off road. The bathrooms themesleves looked like they were built in the 1960s. The shower head... More

After a heatwave warning for Shabbat my husband, mother and five kids decided to book a last minute retreat. Didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised, rooms were nice, bathroom dated as was the general hotel but clean with a very nice bar/ lobby lounge. The pool was fantastic, we all enjoyed it thoroughly although busy didn't... More

This hotel is perfectly located near the water, has breathtaking sunrise view from most rooms, however, the quality of the rooms is on a different level in this country. When we checked in to the room we noticed the toiled had been used and not flushed. We requested additional coffee, water, etc for our room but we are not sure... More

From the moment I walked in it was horrible. The service was horrible. The food was horrible. The pool looked nice but it was not open when we got in, or when we left at 11 am. The staff was ok, but but it did. It help the cheap amenities, the horrible rooms and the missing remote. I won't be... More

The hotel is average. The view of the Kineret/Sea of Galillee is beautiful. Breakfast is good and the staff is helpful. For sure it is better than the Leonardo. But I prefer to stay at the Gai Beach. It is a good second choice in Tiberias.

This hotel was one I came across after escaping my previous reservation at Leonardo Tiberias Hotel. This hotel was close and they were very accomodating. I found most hotels in Tiberias old and outed and if updated its just a facade. This hotel was updated but still lacking. The employees are super friendly, but you still have to come back... More
