Beautiful and peaceful hotel on a historic site. Good food and special atmosphere. Quite pricey, but worth it. Not for kids in my opinion. The best rooms are in the historic building- more expensive. They also have a wine cellar and wine tasting events.

This was my second trip to Israel and the Galilee, first time to stay at the Scots Hotel. Great location, rooms, amenities, food and staff. And being Christian owned (owned and run by the Church of Scotland), plenty of bacon, pork roast and great single malt Scotch.

We've stayed here before on a weekend and enjoyed it very much. This time we came mid-week and enjoyed it even more, especially since the rates were less expensive and the hotel less crowded. Will definitely return!

We took the antique room and it's spacious and very special. The service in the hotel is very good, all the staff is very welcoming . It's a spotless place extremely well looked after . A very special and beautiful place BUT the food used to be very good and is now disappointing We found the buffet at dinner very... More

My usually VERY modest wife had a dream.. for years...: to stay a weekend at the Scots hotel. ... So for 30 years' marriage anniversary, I surprised her... Room was a DLX (a mid level between the "Unique" room and the "Antique" room). To be honest, a standard 5 star room. The hotel itself was much more unique than the... More

This superb hotel exudes quality and excellence and is the perfect base for exploring the northern areas of Israel by car. It has a serene and tranquil ambience and is pristinely clean and beautifully presented throughout. Outdoors the grounds are perfectly manicured with a fabulous pool area which caters for all ages and has a life guard on duty at... More

We stayed at the Scots for two nights. Our room did not have a view but right outside our room was an enclosed seating area with a fantastic view of the Sea of Galilee. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff very professional. The only disappointment was that the access to the Sea was closed because it was "winter"... More

Stayed for 2 nights as part of Odysseys Unlimited Israel tour. Everything in this hotel was superb. Rooms were beautiful with nice furnishings. Great bathroom with excellent shower. Toiletries included L'Occitane and Dead Sea products. Included buffet meals were excellent. Nicely displayed food with many choices. Since it is not a kosher restaurant, it serves a good variety of food... More

While a bit expensive this is truly the nicest place in northern Israel. We loved the manicured grounds, finely appointed rooms, fun little bar and excellent buffet dinner. The price for dinner was also a bit steep but quality was first rate. If you have the choice Scots should be the one

Expensive but very high quality. Wonderful chef - breakfast and dinner exceptionally high quality food. Very high standard. Wonderful atmosphere. Feels like one is out over seas or a while. Extreemly clean. Good quality decor, emneties, service and food. Very highly priced. Probably maily for the rich. If you can afford it - highly recomended. Quiet and relaxing. View of... More
