Rooms are good, but not spotless and impecable as a real 5 stars hotel room should be: in one ocasion they took away a used towell, but didn't bring a new one instead; I found a long hair in the pillow cover, and another pillow cover had a few holes in it...!!! .That's realy unacceptable for even a 3 stars hotel...!!! Breakfast is... more

Great start to my time in the Holy Land. The hotel is very comfortable, and the food is first-rate. The staff are very helpful. I had trouble with the steps in the grounds, but learned belatedly that there are several lifts - the hotel staff aim to make these better known. more

I just returned from four days in Tiberius, as part of a visit to Israel. I was disappointed having just come from a great stay at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem to find the Scots Hotel to be nothing worth of a five star rating. The furnishings were old and dingy, stains on the couch, shower was disgusting with... more

This hotel is not worth its high cost. I stayed in one of the "new" rooms. It was not much better than a standard motel room. I paid for a sea view but I could not really enjoy it, as I had to stand at the window to see it. Perhaps the "antique" rooms are better, but they are also... more

The Scots Tiberias was wonderful. The service was excellent and the food was delicious and beautiful. We especially loved dining on the patio as a group of 24. What a stunning place! more

Our group of 26 people just spent 3 nights at the Scots Hotel. We were on a 8 day tour of the holy land, and wrapped up our trip in Tiberias. What a wonderful place to do that! From the moment we entered the hotel lobby - and were offered refreshing glasses of fresh lemonade - our stay at the... more

Our group of 40 stayed 3 nights at this hotel and fell in love with it. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean, and the food is delicious. Our one and only complaint is the shower door; a very small door that lets water escape. A big bonus - fantastic sunrises over the Sea of Galilee from the hotel grounds... more

We had a very nice antique room with all the amenities. Lovely grounds and a good location. The only downside was the front desk which was pleasant but rather inefficient : one morning they forgot our wake up call, they were supposed to make a dinner reservation but never did, among other things. more

When we arrived at the Scot's Hotel on Friday night, the front desk clerk was rather aloof and unfriendly. The hotel was fully booked and parking was difficult. The lobby is very barren and not at all like other properties of similar cost. I found our room to be very spartan but clean. The hotel seemed to have raised the... more
