The hotel's location is its best asset as we could walk out of the hotel to watch the sun rise over the Sea of Galilee. We spent four nights here as part of a large group so the hotel was chosen for us. Although the hotel was a good base for touring Galilee, it is in dire need of a... More

We were part of a group, so we had a package deal. The Water Park is closed during the winter months, but the promenade along the Sea of Galilee was beautiful and relaxing. The bed was comfortable with several pillows. The tub/shower combo worked fine. We brought our own stopper for the tub. Nice hotel sized amenities for hair, lotion,... More

I loved waking up before dawn to step outside and watch the sun rise over the Sea of Galilee. This hotel's location and its beautiful grounds are its strength. The food was good, although the entrees at dinner were limited. The service varied. One breakfast we couldn't get a cup of coffee at our table despite multiple requests. The previous... More

We stayed here with a group and had no real choice. The location is wonderful and the veiws are great. Tiberius is a great place to base your tours of this area of Israel. The rooms were clean but not recently updated. We were constantly barraged with maid staff trying to enter the room even when the do not disturb... More

Gai Beach is the best hotel option in Tiberias. It is by the Sea of Galillee and it has it's own beach. Great swimming pool, amazing israeli breakfast. The staff is helpful. The rooms are not so good, but the view and the location are amazing.

We stayed here for three nights while travelling with our Tour Group of 67 through the Holy Land. The location is wonderful, right at the edge of the sea of Galilee. The food, both breakfast & dinner, was superb! Wonderful selections of Mediterranean fare. Staff were efficient, but not overly friendly. Wi-fi was very weak and most of our tour... More

We spent three nights at the Gai Beach Resort while exploring northern Israel with a group. When we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The common spaces are nice and the views of the Sea of Galilee are breathtaking. Watching the sunset and the sunrise from the pool deck was a total highlight each day we were there. That being... Upon our arrival the hotel had an envelope for each person in our group of 46 with our room key and luggage tags. Once the bus was unloaded we attached our luggage sticker with our room number and the porters brought our bags to our room. They really did a great job! This hotel is four stars just for the... The hotel offers comfortable and luxurious It should be noted also quite spacious. We stayed in a room facing the Sea of Galilee, view from the window was relaxing. The food plentiful, fresh and varied. The surrounding area is also very pleasant note the excellent spa place. More surrounding area water slides in a variety of sizes and quiet beach.... More

Ever want to re-live the fabulous 70's - well it's all here at Gai. Think burnt orange and lime green rainbows...yes, this is a time capsule of sorts. If you love syrup-embalmed canned fruit for breakfast and powdered eggs, this is your hotel! Yet...it is not inexpensive and for a "phive" star hotel, it is profoundly underwhelming...for example: no wash... More
