Based on some of the bad reviews here, I was quite concerned about staying at this hotel (which was booked as part of a group tour) - thankfully, it wasn't as bad as I expected! Yes, it is dated and could certainly use some upkeep. Furnishings and bathrooms are outdated, common areas could use a paint job. But everything was... More

We had gone to Israel and visited Galilee, stayed at King Solomon. Rooms were neat, clean, washrooms quite hygenic, housekeeping and room service were prompt, courteous. Food was very good, we had breakfasts and dinners. Service at the Lake dining room was excellent. Room balconeys were very good overlooking the Sea of Galilee. We would strongly recommend this hotel for... More

Grubby appearance both inside and out, dinner and breakfast were dismal, id rather go hungry, and I did in fact. Hospitality of staff was non existant, as with other hotels that I stayed in in israel during my stay, I got the distinct impression that us tourists were a tiresome bunch and we should all just go home!

I was discussed by this hotel. My room smelled and had black mold in bathroom and tub. The hallways were dank and had odor. One elevator for this large hotel. Paint peeling everywhere. The only redeeming quality is the view and certainly I would not chose this hotel ever again.

Fun memories of the welcoming wine that was served on arrival to guests at the hotel lobby. Could only get internet connection on wifi at the hotel lobby. Stay in room was boring. Dinner was not great, but breakfast was average. Great view of the sea of galilee and sea breeze.

We stayed from 24th April to 26th April 2013. We had a room facing the sea of Galilee from where we had great Panoramic view. It was a memorable stay. Excellent room, food, hospitable staff and free WiFi in the Lobby. We would love to come here again. Really best value for the money.

Nasty, moldy, dated, run down and buggy. Yeeechhh. No working wifi, and filthy bathroom, had to change rooms due to bug infestation and carry my own luggage from room to room. Thankfully the view was amazing,, their sister hotel in Jerusalem was much much nicer.

We stayed at the King Solomon in Tiberias for only one night as part of our tour. The rooms were very basic. There was a good sized seating area and a tiny balcony. The bathroom was spacious but set up strange. From the shower you look right at yourself in the mirror. Our balcony had a beautiful view of the... More

Really run down and in need of maintenance and updating. The pool area is lovely, though no drinks available anywhere near the pool or toilets which is inconvenient. The hotel is way out of town, nothing around but wasn't a problem for us. Religious hotel so one of the lifts turns into a Shabbat lift on fri evening meaning it... More
