The hotel is on the top of the hill, far, far from the Sea of Galilee. It was in really poor condition. The rooms were run down and decrepit....lamps falling to bits, closets collapsing, rusted out bath tubs, concave beds, tiny dingy towels and filthy windows. If going by American standards this would be a 0-1 star hotel only because... More

We had a very comfortable room on the 10th floor, for me,my wife and daughter. As part of a tour,on a bus, the luggage was delivered to the roadside then taken in after checking. One is issued with stickers for the romm number and if you don'tfeel like juggling bags etc yourself, they are taken up by hotel staff and... More

We came here with a large tour group. We were warned about locking our rooms due to theft - nothing was stolen. We had no bad experiences - it's just an old, neglected hotel where maintenance is not a priority. More

We didn't have a choice about staying at the hotel since my husband ran a birthright trip and the group was staying there, and I was VERY nervous after reading the reviews (and contacted the nice lady who said it wasn't so terrible there - thank you, it wasn't). When we got there Tuesday afternoon it was DEAD. They literally... More

It seems I had a different experience than everyone else at King Solomon. The hotel is not centrally located but it has everything you need. The only complaint is if you are in the Kinneret Wing (floors 2-6) then you have to take 2 elevators and walk long hallways to get to your room. And the hallways aren't heated, so... More

I spent one night in this hotel as part of a tour. We arrived late at night . . . and left early in the morning. And I couldn't leave fast enough. The hotel is old and dirty. The elevator feels like a death trap. The door to the room didn't have a chain or any sort of deadbolt -... More

It was dreadful--the furniture was broken, TV didn't work, couldn't close the bathroom door and it was filthy. The carpet appeared not to have been cleaned or even vacuumed in YEARS. The bathroom sink was stopped up. The shower head went flying off when one of our group tried to use the shower. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. More

My daughter just returned from a 10-day tour with Taglit-Birthright Israel. She traveled with about 40 college kids and a few educators. At this hotel she shared a room with two other girls. While they were out their room was entered and money, clothes and my daughter's passport were stolen. The room was not forcibly entered although as other posters... More

Overall, a basic 3-star hotel with better-than-3-star recreation facilities. We were here for a weekend as someone's guest, so my review doesn't take into account the price of the room, as we paid for it: The good: - Decent spa & outdoor pool - Quiet location - Each room has private balcony and gorgeous views of the Kinneret (Sea of... We stayed only one night in this hotel, and we were glad it wasn't longer. The staff was perfectly friendly and they gave us a top floor room with a view of the Sea of Galilee. However, the balcony door would not close completely and the lock was broken (it was off its track). The light covering over the table... More
