My wife and parents stayed at this hotel while on an organized tour of Israel. This hotel is owned and operated by the Kibbutz is located near the Lavi forest. We found the rooms plain but comfortable. The twin beds pushed together were very uncomfortable. The roof of the hotel lobby leaked in the rain. The meals were average and... More

We only stayed one night, but the room was comfortable, with a kettle and sachets in the room. Buffet meals, and the Hotel Manager came and spoke to us personally. There was a talk about the kibbutz after the evening meal, followed by a tour the following morning.

This hotel is part of a Kibbutz so a different experience. It seems that everyone has to have a job and several of the serving staff were not what you’d call experienced. However, the room was spacey and clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom adequate. Food is served in a canteen style restaurant and was ok. The most interesting... More

Out of the way hotel (maybe renovated 'rest home'?) near Galalee. Off the beaten path...no local amenities nearby. Clean rooms, beds ok. No noise. Excellent food at the restaurant. Staff was ok. Clean parking areas, well lit. Views of hills, valley, and mountains.

stayed here as part of a tour group. From the big tables in the dining room and the number of tour busses in the parking lot, I'd guess tours account for the vast majority of their business. The room was simple and clean. In the dining hall (not restaurant), salads and appetizers were excellent, main courses were hot table cafeteria... More

We enjoyed the cultural experience of kibbutz lavi and found the rooms to be comfortable and clean if a bit Spartan. The front desk was friendly and we had the chance for a great tour of the kibbutz by Ellis a humorous kibbutz-nick from Baltimore. The food was as expected... Simple and fresh. I believe this would be a great... More

My wife had been hearing about this religious orthodox kibbutz hotel for years, so I took her for a weeknight surprise for her birthday. For the price of the lodging, the room was very basic and simple- the furnishings were not new at all (there is a modern wing that costs even more). The food was also standard and basic-... More

Stayed as part of a Gate1 tour. Excellent service, lovely modern room great meals. The grounds are lovely, the staff very hospitable and the pool areas large and relaxing. One downside - the walls are very nothin - we could hear EVERYTHING our neighbors were doing next door. Oh my!

This is by no means a luxury hotel. It is an income producing entity that helps sustain the fiscal health of the Kibbutz to which it is attached. It caters to tour buses of both adults and youth. The hotel is clean and neat. The rooms are pleasant if a bit simple. The beds are comfortable but the linens are... More
