We experienced a lovely overnight stay in this special kibbutz. We enjoyed the ambiance, davening, breakfast and surrounding gardens. However, our guest room was not thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival, and in our opinion probably needs refurbishment.

The two-night stay here during an 11-day tour of Israel provided an insightful perspective into the lives of the strict Shomer Shabat Jews. As Gentiles, my spouse and I had no idea what to expect. We really enjoyed an evening lecture/discussion about life in a kibbutz. Our room was lovely, and the dinners were better than most of the hotel... More

We stayed one night as part of an eight day Israel tour. We found the hotel relaxing, with well appointed rooms, helpful staff, good quality and varied food. The gardens with "nature walk" were a nice addition and the views of the surrounding area made this a very relaxing place to stay.

We were expecting something much simpler, but this hotel offered a spacious room, a great view and excellent food, both for dinner and breakfast. It was interesting to walk around the kibbutz and learn something of how it works at a talk in the hotel one evening. Close to the Sea of Galilee, it was a good base and a... More

This is far from a luxury experince. Even though we paid for an upgraded room, we got two twins put together. We did get a balcony, but who cares if you can't sleep. Bed was uncomfotable. Pillows were worse. The food is the worst I've had in Israel. The dinner was terrible. How they failed to produce edible scrambled eggs... More

I spent 2 nights in this hotel, located not far from the Sea of Galilee, in a beautiful kibbutz. Rooms are very nice, spacious and quiet. Many guests are Orthodox Jews and the food in the restaurant is good and absolutely kosher. Everything went ok during my stay and the staff in the hotel was very helpful. I hope to... More

An extremely comfortable hotel situated in a Jewish religious kibbutz community. Everyone is made to feel welcome, and the grounds comprise rose gardens, museums of kibbutz life, a farm, stables, a swimming pool, tennis courts, and seemingly everything else! The staff are friendly and professional, the restaurant offers a magnificent buffet for both breakfast and dinner, but of course all... More

The bed was tiny and very uncomfortable...pillows like tissue paper and the food, a really important issue for most of us, was atrocious. Tasteless and looked like cafeteria food in a school. Find other acommodations if possible.

We stayed at Kibbutz Lavi as part of a three day tour to the north of Israel. The room was very large and comfortable. Included breakfasts and dinners were good with lots of selections and options. The grounds were lovely. We were a couple, but the hotel was loaded with lots of kids. On the second night, we were invited... More

I went with my kids on Pesach and was very impressed. The food was good, the kids pool was great, there are 2 great parks to play in and the massive grounds are stunning. Service was all with a smile. It is not the cheapest vacation, but you certainly get what you pay for, unlike many other Israeli hotels that... More
