We stayed eight nights in a top-of-the line (i.e. really expensive) room (Hadar wing). There are less expensive rooms, and much less expensive seasons. The room was large, well furnished, well appointed, and very comfortable. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent. High quality food well presented on buffets (except on The Sabbath = Fri eve and Sat lunch when they were... More

I was at the hotel for a family gathering the weekend of July 19-20. The rooms were as comfortable as any good hotel. Food was great. Service extremely helpful and courteous despite the fact the hotel is run by the kibbutz. Took a tour of the kibbutz and pleasantl gardens and got an insight into how they work communal living.... We just completed a two day stay at Lavi and very much enjoyed the experience. The hotel hosts many Israeli families and it seems to focus on providing a great family experience. The room was nice -- spacious and very clean. It also featured a wonderful patio. Breakfast was adequate but not as elaborate and extensive as major hotels in... More

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel as part of a tour of Israel. Our room was clean, but outdated. Wifi was free but there was no signal in my room. Pool was nice, but it is a religious hotel with segregated swimming. I went to pool at time for mixed swim with my fiancé and it was very uncomfortable.... More

I had no idea what to expect, so I'm glad my expectations weren't too high. This was very dorm-like. The room was clean, if sparse, so I was happy about that. The food was adequate and a little bland. We had a friend get what he thought was 'roast beef' from the buffet and later found out it was tongue!... More

I have stayed at this hotel several times. The hotel is well appointed, and the rooms are very clean. I found the service second to none every time! Amenities offered are pretty standard, and the food is quite good. However the cost of staying at this hotel is way over the class hotel it should be rated at. I would... More

I didn't know what to expect. This was the second out of four places we would be staying at in Israel. I understand that there are certain religious rules that they have to deal with and I hope my review doesn't negatively reflect on that. I will start off with my biggest complaints, the bed was very hard and the... More

I had been hiking from hostel to hostel on a self-guided, pre-booked tour (Jesus Trail), and so this honest-to-goodness real life hotel was quite the pleasant change. I'm fine with hostels, but it was great to get the very clean, very professional upgrade. The only drawback is probably personal: I like the character one gets in hostels. Here, everything was... We usually stay in 4 star hotels and like a good dinner with wine. K Lavi is a pleasant property and the room was fine; large enough with a nice patio, about 3 star quality. Dinner is a buffet which was not that appealing; overcooked fish, etc. Breakfast was good with a large selection.
