I was so glad that we opted for Ein Gedi instead of the packed Tiberias. We arrived at the Kibbutz in the early evening and were upgraded to a bungalow over looking Tiberias with an amazing sunset over the Sea of Galilee. We had our own porch and back yard. The staff was incredibly friendly and willing to help, which was great since customer service can be hard to find in Israel. The location was great for our first trip to the Galilee. It's right on the sea. The breakfast was large and tasty. We didn't eat dinner at the restaurant at the resort, but a mile or so up... more

We arrived at Ein Gev after 10 days in Jerusalem. This location was everything that Jerusalem is not- (meaning-quiet and relaxing). We had a small cottage on the shore of the Sea of Galilee ("The Kinneret" these days). The cottage was clean and neat, and was well laid out to offer maximum space and convenience.
