We stayed for 3 nights (required) as an extended family; our rooms were in the newer building,"Gefen". The rooms were large and well-equipped, but difficult of access. The newer building feels deserted, no staff there, no public areas. The dining room staff were quite pleasant, there was plenty of choice, reasonable food, nice atmosphere. The swimming pool is very nice.... More

Ruth Rimonim is Safed is located close to the old part of the city overlooking the valley. The hotel is an old refurbished complex offers a romantic getaway. We got a large room with double-bed (they have rooms with singles or joint beds) and the nice staff upgraded us since it was a special birthday and the hotel had available... More

The staff at the front desk and the dining room was very nice. But, overall, management doesn't have clue. 1. Even the deluxe rooms are showing their age. Not enough electrical outlets in the room, no tissues, think towels, dingy look overall. 2. Overnight staff has no ability to get simple things done like providing an extra sheet. 3. English... Great great location in the heart of the Old City. For this reason alone I would recommend it. Didn't spend much time in the hotel as we did a lot of walking around but so quick and easy to come back to. Room clean with no complaints. Check in was quick and easy. Breakfast selection not as good as other... More

Tzfat is considered to be one of Judaism's four holy cities, and perhaps the most mystical. The artist colony is great, the ancient synagogues beautiful, and the views are breathtaking. Ruth Rimonim is probably the nicest hotel in the city, although that's not a high bar to jump. We found the rooms very clean, the food and the service were... More

stayed in this hotel 4 years ago - charming modernised room - beautifully appointed and clean. Traveled with family after convincing them this hotel is special- room we received was unclean - ants in corner bathroom and terribly dated- staff don't really care- breakfast was normal Israeli breakfast - but staff are not welcoming - don't clear away used plates... Lets cut to the chase. The city is awesome indeed and, with luck, you might end up getting a room with spetacular views of some of the Tzfat hills. But don't get too excited about the rest that this anciant hotel has to offer you. The setup of this hotel is very weird and the forniture is as old as... More

Follow the signs, up and up and back and forth, down the alley to the Ruth Rimonim Inn in Safed. It's charming to see, and has wonderful views. The hotel folks are helpful, and the rooms are lovely. Outfitted comfortably and the bathroom was great (213). I did have issues with the bedding. The bottom sheet came off the mattress... More

Safed is a charming old city and artist colony. This hotel is located right at the beginning of the old city and the buildings blend beautifully. Other than the cleaning person, the staff were unhelpful and rude. The hotel was expensive and required an extra payment for internet per device. I was shocked at the poor service and the staff's... Our group stopped in Safed/Tsfat for a sabbath weekend recently. The ancient "khan" has been transformed into a modern (?) hotel including restaurant with remains of horse tie-ups in the kitchen! Food was plentiful and great, served buffet style. Rooms were comfortable and spread up and down hallways, stairs, "newer" building. Location was perfect for reaching all the places you... More
