Built on one of the largest hills in all of Israel, the view of the Gallile is priceless. Rooms were quaint but with lots of wood finish. Sculptures scattered around. Amenities were pleny. However the beds were low and hard. Heater did not regulate so I neded to wake in the night to turn off. Old style shower curtains left... More

Beautiful room, clean, unsurpassed views, pleasant surroundings and good sized swimming pool. However, the Seder night couples were jammed in a corridor of the dining room and our table banged into with a continuous file of people going to the buffet. Make your own haggada inches away from the next tables at different stages of the reading. Cold matzo balls... More

Nestled in the artists quarter of Safed this hotel is not as easy to find as we had hoped, we arrived to be given an upgrade to a room with a better view. As many mention the rooms are separate to the lobby and main parts of the hotel but this only adds to the charm (as long as the... More

We spent one evening there and it was cold outside. Only way to keep warm was heating at 28C with it on continuously. No extra blankets in the closet. Breakfast was a nice buffet but coffee or special egg orders was slow. Room had nice flat screen and a few channels with movies and shows in English plus the usual... More

Very pleasant hotel very close to the artist colony in Safed and the old city. Very nice garden with a panoramic view of the Galilee. Very good breakfast with a marvellous view. Although the hotel is an historic building, the rooms are modern and large. If you drive to the hotel with Waze drive to Taz Street not to the... More

My wife and I stayed here with a friend and we were quite disappointed with this hotel. We had a room in a separate section of the hotel where we had to walk outside to get to the restaurant or the front desk. Our room was also next to the "wine cellar" where we could hear people talking and music... More

Very old hotel updated to meet the needs of today's traveler. The breakfast was pretty darn god as well! The location is absolutely the best in regards to exploring the Artists Colony, shops and the cemetery in Tzfat. On Shabbos, I was even more appreciative as it was a ten minute walk to one carlbach shul and 20 to another.... More

We were there on business but I would love to return on vacation. This hotel is nestled into a hillside town with old windy streets - ancient Israel meets modern comfort.... It has a spa, great views from the rooms and the restaurant across the hills of Galilee... Too bad we were on a fleeting business trip....

Ruth Rimonim is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting. The views from the breakfast room are breathtaking. The bedrooms also have lovely views. Breakfast is excellent and there is so much to see in Safed. The only draw back is if you have difficulty walking this is not a place for you. It is very steep with lots of... More

Rooms nice enough and staff very courteous and friendly. Terrace overlooking the mountains provides great viewing area for local sunset. But...the restaurant ran out of dinner food at 7 pm! The bar had no cold wine, and I was served from an open bottle that had probably been sitting for a while. I said that that would be ok if... More
