My friend and I were volunteers in the Sar-El Program. Laurie's charming Guest House was recommended by a fellow volunteer. Our weekend in Tzfat was wonderful, and made extremely special because of Laurie's warm, welcoming nature, and her accommodating attitude. Because we arrived in the evening, we were tired and hungry and somewhat confused as to directions. We called her... More

We have only good things to say about this stay. The house has a genuine Tzfat feel to it, with a sweet courtyard that had oranges growing on a small tree, and turtles (yup!) crawling in the vegetation. If dogs (friendly ones) scare you, or cats make you queezy, then maybe this is not for you. The two rooms are... More

I called Laurie, owner of the Rappeport Guest House, for my five friends and I for a weekend getaway. She was extremely accommodating, setting us up with wonderful Shabbat meals and her hospitality and the cleanliness of her guest house cannot be beat. She was kind and helpful in giving us advice on what not to miss in our short... More

This was our second visit to Rappeport Guest House. We had a cosy apartment with all the essential comforts, and ate in the garden which is lovely. Situated in the heart of Tzfat, easy walking to all points of interest, synagogues, artists studios and shops, the main streets, restaurants etc. Laurie makes her guests feel at home, with a warm welcome... I highly recommend the guest house! The location was perfect, so we didn't even have to use public transportation-we just walked everywhere! I left something behind and Laurie even posted it to me free of charge! What service!!

My wife had a great Shabat in the guest house. It's so conveniently located close to all the sights and in the beautiful artists colony. Laurie was so accommodating and even invited us for Shabat lunch with interesting people from all over the world. Her beautiful garden has all the fruits you come to expect in israel and is truly... Great location, nice calming place and yard to relax in, good service. The two rooms are nice and in one room the bed can come out to accommodate more people. We even saw a turtle in the yard!! It was quiet and we slept very well overnight. I'd recommend the place to anyone interested in spending some time in the... More

Laurie was a lovely host in Safed. Her room is well located in the old city, steps from all the lovely sights and goings on in town. We enjoyed Shabbat with Laurie, strolling to the synagogue and learning all about the city and lifestyle of Safed. The two rooms were simple and affordable for our small family (my husband and... Lori Rappeport has made our stay in Safed special. It was not only for a comfortable housing she provided, but most of all for the great welcome she gave us organising our Shabbat hospitality, taking us to the synagogue, sharing the meal with her family and showing us around the city. Thank you Lori! It was an unforgettable experience.
