What an amazing stay my family of four had. It was recommended to us to request a "cottage" versus staying in the main building. The "cottage" turned out to be a 2 level home about a 1/4 mile from the main building. This cottage was more like a home with all the amenities that a home provides. We had the... More

We stayed in the Patio suite. Quaint, quiet. Great staff, nice restaurant with an incredible view of the upper Galilee. Nice location to serve as a base to tour upper Israel for a couple of days. Nice wine selection.

This review is for the Villa at Pina Barosh, which is one of two stand-alone houses down the street from the main B&B. Because we were a family of seven, it was practically the same price to rent the Villa instead of the three B&B rooms we would have needed. Plus, we always like the idea of having a kitchen,... More

We spent two nights at Pina Barosh. As we were a group of 6 family members we decided to stay in the Wadi villa, which was a lovely, tastefully decorated, comfortable home just up the road from the inn itself. The villa had a beautiful backyard, stunning view, and access to the pool shared with the home next door. This... More

Nicely situated on road where most zimmers/bed and breakfasts are located. Lovely patio with a great view of the Hula Valley and Golan, but the large yard directly below the prime seats at the edge look onto a rubble strewn large lot which the proprieters own. Clean it up! They start serving breakfast at 8:30 but you can't even get... More

This B&B has it all! It is our 4th visit.A magnificent view overlooking the Hula Valley and the Golan from the open air dining room, comfortable guest rooms combining the historic stone origins of the structure with all the modern amenities and artistic flair, fabulous food and wine selection and responsive service. We ended up eating all our meals there... More

The setting and view are so lovely. You relax as soon as you arrive. Each room is different in this quaint retrofitted farm...our haven had been the cow barn. All the art work is original and colorful. The stained glass on the doors and throughout is beautiful. We stayed for dinner since it is hard to leave such a pretty... More

We had a small house all to ourselves, just a short walk down the street from the main house and restaurant. The accommodations were superb, with a charming back yard, fully equiped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. Breakfast was included at the restaurant that looks out over the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee). All the meals we had... More

Speaking to the accommodations...This place is charming but certainly nothing outstanding. It does have lots of eclectic character. The artist/owner is so very kind but her style of artwork looks very out of place in this rustic setting. I guess it goes along with the rest of the hodge podge of decor one will find their room decorated with. Speaking... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
'Pina-Barosh’ is a family boutique domain at the picturesque restoration site of the artsy village Rosh-Pina. The stone building overlooking the wide Hulla valley, Golan Heights and Mount Hermon, was established in 1876 by Josef Friedman, the family's Great Grandfather, known as ‘Josef the Effendi’, and its upper floor is still occupied today by the sixth generation of the original settlers. The ground level of this unique building was once used as the farm livestock yard and been restored by Nili Friedman in 1991. Today the domain offers seven distinctive rooms, the reputable chef restaurant Shiri Bistro conducted by the daughter Shiri Friedman, and a professional Wine Bar specializes in the boutique local wines and wine tours of the Galilee and the Golan. ... more   less
