Located deep within the Old City, the Fauzi Azar Inn was once an elegant private home. At $132, including breakfast, it felt like a splurge for us. Although it's a bit tricky to find, we reached it without too much stress, and when we opened the low metal door and ducked into the beautiful stone courtyard, we felt we had... More

The Fauzi Azar Inn, is such a great choice while in Nazareth. The Ambiance is exceptional, and all the staff are amazing. My husband and I would highly recommend The Fauzi Azar Inn to everyone. What a special place to stay.

Beautiful architecture, well designed rooms, helpful staff, nice breakfast spread, and large living spaces. Take Linda's tour of the old city to get a real feel for life as a local here. A fantastic experience!!

It's not just the building and guest rooms that are worth the recommendation here. It's the total experience, which made our stay in Nazareth immeasurably greater and more rewarding than if we had stayed in a typical hotel. We arrived at night, which only increases the difficulty of finding the guest house in the narrow, maze-like pedestrian-only streets of the... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights and were extremely pleased: gorgeous building, spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, and most of all wonderfully considerate staff. We booked a tour through the hotel and the agency wanted to cancel because they needed a third person, but the manager put her foot down and insisted they take us anyway. Highly recommended.

I've visited Fauzi Azar Inn twice and loved it. It's a beautiful Ottoman villa in the old city of Nazareth. Very friendly staff, great rooms (I stayed in a private room). The staff provides helpful information about Nazareth. To sit and sip tea in the courtyard at the Fauzi Azar in while listening to the churchbells and call for prayers... More

Unique place with wonderful people, the best way to experience Nazereth. don't miss Linda's city tour! A nice place to meet other backpackers and get ideas of what to do here and around. Rooms are clean and beautiful but mornings are ver noisy outside so don't plan on waking up late...

I've stayed at the Fauzi Azar twice now. The second time I felt like I was coming home. That's the sort of place it is: a sanctuary for travellers. There are many things to see and do in Nazareth, but I was happy to simply sit in the courtyard, sip coffee, eat the complimentary cake (delicious!) and read a book.... More

Located in the Old Town of Nazareth, the Fauzi Azar is at first a real challenge to find in the maze of narrow streets. Taxis can only get you to within 500 metres of the inn - you have to walk the remainder of the way, and hope you find the right direction! However, it is very well worth the... More

I stayed one night at the Fauzi Azar Inn. This hostel was recommended to me by the staff at the Abraham hostel in Jerusalem. This hostel is part of the ILH israeli hostel network, you can pick a free ILH discount card if you stay at any other hostels in the ILH network. (I received mine at the Abraham hostel... More
