As other reviewers have said, the Fauzi Azar Inn is not a hotel, rather a hostel, so it is simple, but clean and comfortable. Everything about our stay was entirely as we expected and was very pleasant. The hospitality is very warm indeed: staff are very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. They provide communal kitchen facilities for guests.... More

We spent one night in Fauzi Azar and we do recommend it to other travelers. It is not a hotel, so you shouldn't expect those standards, but if you like an experience that comes closer to where you are staying, Nazareth, it is the place to go. The staff is really friendly and helpful, thank you Linda for calling to... More

The Fauzi Azar Inn is a hostel in the heart of the old city of Nazareth. Though the bathrooms in the rooms were extremely small, the rooms were nicely decorated. There were no phones or tvs in the rooms (hostel) but wi-fi is available in all rooms and the courtyard. The breakast wad delicious with an omelette option many places... More

The Fauzi Azar Inn is a great place to stay in Nazareth. Of the different hostels I've stayed in, this is definitely one of the cleanest. Every morning the staff cleans the hostel which makes you feel that they believe in quality service. Breakfast is included and there is more of a selection than many hotels. There is such a... More

Stayed for 5 nights. Lovely room, beautiful building. Very helpful staff, incredibly friendly. Good kitchen facilities with free tea and cake. Has some good discounts with local restaurants. Definitely the place to stay in Nazareth.

The Fauzi Azar Inn is, as it self-proclaims, a local institution. We stayed two nights in Room 4 and (while it seems it may be a minor Tripadvisor blasphemy as the Fauzi has a following) had an OK stay. After all the great reviews it was a bit of a let down. They o an excellent job promoting themselves. It... More

We spent two nights at the Fauzi Azar Inn in the the old city of Nazareth as part of a tour of northern Israel with Abraham Tours. You should be aware that you cannot be dropped off at the Inn and will need to walk with your luggage at least several blocks over uneven pavement. We were actually dropped off... More

Fauzi Azir's, or endearingly referred to as "Fauzi's", is the most restful and welcoming accommodation we have ever stayed in. Suraida (the owner and granddaughter of Fauzi) and all her staff are wonderful and so friendly. The Inn has the grace only found in a well loved old family home which Suraida has now decided to share with weary travelers... More

Well-located hostel/guesthouse in the old city of Nazareth, with lovely cool peaceful courtyards to relax in, excellent and extensive breakfast options, and well-equipped kitchen with free cake and hot drinks.

Fauzi Azar Inn is a one-of-a-kind Inn in an absolutely unique connection to history and the local culture. The small touches of hospitality, the way that the place brings people of all kinds together, and the model of cooperation among the staff and volunteers, makes a stay at the Fauzi one that you will not forget and will return to...
