I came to Nazareth for just a day, and I am so glad I did. The city has lots of history which is so interesting and relevant even for those who are not very religious. My experience at the guesthouse was also really nice. It had beautiful decorations, relaxing Christmas music, and a great view of the city. The beds... More

I called the friendly and helpful Emil to help us found Al Mutran after we got lost in the maze of Nazareth. The place is hidden in small alley. Emil also fixed delicious and ample breakfast. Five of us got three rooms in the main building, the family room upstairs, deluxe and the biggest room in the house. Room cleanliness... More

I really want to give this hotel more stars on simple account of the amazing friendliness and hospitality of the manager Emil. Unfortunately I have to resist and give an objective review. The hotel is not without its charms, set in an old arab mansion, eclectically decorated in an oriental style and with historic photos of Nazareth on the wall.... More

I had the pleasure of staying in this adorable place for 2 nights in October of 2014.The staff was so helpful, kind and very gracious despite some confusion in the beginning on room assignments for our group which was not their fault. The charm of this place was eye catching and made me feel right at home. The views from... More

We selected this hotel for his location (old city), close to restaurants and shops but also because it was a charming old house. You can visit the town by walk: the receptionist will provide you a map with explainations and good advice. He was very nice, taking care of us and always available. We saw a couple who even came... An absolute delight to stay here, the owner Emile went out of his way to make us feel superbly welcomed. The room was light an airy & the old house decorated in charming, traditional style with a gorgeous open air seated area round a fountain. I would wholeheartedly recommend!

I stayed at the Al-Mutran in Nazareth for two nights in October 2014 as part of a larger group. Check-in was difficult and took far too long. There was not sufficient help on site, even though our group had long-standing reservations. However, the hospitality of the owners resolved the problems, and we enjoyed a truly fascinating place. An old Arab... More

Al Mutran is a truly magical place. I was lucky enough to stay in Al Mutran for three weeks as part of a college trip to Nazareth. Al Mutran was especially kind to us, allowing us to use their facilities for classroom purposes and group meals. Al Mutran's balconies offer a spectacular view of Nazareth. It was nice to just... Had a day off from work in West Bank so spent time in and around Nazareth. Stayed at the guest house via a friend who recommended it. Fabulous and like walking into a home. Great facilities for the traveller and wonderful company as well as lots to discuss. Emile's fluent English shames my non existent Arabic and his cooking skills... More

This place was fantastic! Beautiful room and lobby area, amazing view from the terrace, and so close to all the major sights and restaurants. AC worked well in the room so we were never uncomfortable. The best part, however, was the friendliness of the Manager, Emile. He was more than happy to get us juice, coffee, food, and suggestions of... More
