A lovely guest house in the centre of Nazareth, managed by a great host, Emil. The indoor decor is very characteristic of Palestinian houses, including an indoor garden/veranda and beautiful floors and coloured glass windows. Good wi-fi connection and good location, next door to Muammar writer's house, now centre for arts and culture.

We stayed only one night here but wish we could have stayed more! The owner Emil was friendly, helpful and kind. We have 3 teenagers and the rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable with aircon and the decor was charming - especially the fountain courtyard upstairs! Breakfast was great as Emil makes omelettes and there is plenty of fruits, olives, cheeses,... More

Right from the moment we got there we felt welcome and on good hands with Emil the manager of the guesthouse. Our room was very big and could fit our little family of four perfectly. The kids played in front of the guesthouse every morning and that was the reason we could enjoy our fresh and delicious breakfast! We would... More

I said I would write about Al Mutran as I was so delighted when I left the place almost a year ago...yes, I am late but when I look back at my time in Israel, the one night at Al Mutran comes back as one of the best places I stayed at. Lots of character, everything you need, very peaceful... More

Al-Mutran is a beautiful guesthouse facing a quiet courtyard in Nazareth. he room was very comfortable and had everything I needed in it. Emil was a fabulous host and is the essence of middle eastern hospitality! The breakfast is great and I loved getting to taste local foods. I spent the hot, july afternoons sitting in the inner courtyard beside... More

We stayed last week in these guest house and it was a treat! Emil is a great host taking care of all the details, giving a great explanation of the city and cooking a wonderful omelette in the morning. The house is an old mansion that has a lot of nice details. We felt like at home. We would certainly... More

This very old Ottoman era mansion offers a wide range of room quality, along with a host, Emil, who can arrange anything! But before you can enjoy anything, you must run the guantlet of narrow streets, wild traffic and misleading signs. If you're using a GPS app such as Waze, be prepared for the app to lie to you! We... I came to Nazareth for just a day, and I am so glad I did. The city has lots of history which is so interesting and relevant even for those who are not very religious. My experience at the guesthouse was also really nice. It had beautiful decorations, relaxing Christmas music, and a great view of the city. The beds... More

I called the friendly and helpful Emil to help us found Al Mutran after we got lost in the maze of Nazareth. The place is hidden in small alley. Emil also fixed delicious and ample breakfast. Five of us got three rooms in the main building, the family room upstairs, deluxe and the biggest room in the house. Room cleanliness... More

I really want to give this hotel more stars on simple account of the amazing friendliness and hospitality of the manager Emil. Unfortunately I have to resist and give an objective review. The hotel is not without its charms, set in an old arab mansion, eclectically decorated in an oriental style and with historic photos of Nazareth on the wall.... More
