Executive Summary: If you want an authentic Kibbutz experience, stay here, otherwise get a real hotel. Calling this place a "Hotel" or "Resort" is a bit of a stretch. This is just a series of cottages operated by a collective farm (Kibbutz) for extra income. The rooms are on the small side with a good-sized balcony. The bathrooms are on... More

Our church group stayed at this quaint resort by the Sea of Galilee. Each couple had their own cottage and plenty of privacy. The sleep quality was excellent as there were functioning A/C's in each cottage and no concern about noisy rooms or neighbors. The cottages were basic but comfortable. The food was good and plentiful. Overall a nice stay... More

The Ein Gev Holyday Resort is located on the south-eastern shore of Israel's only sweet-water lake, called Kineret. There are 4 kinds of rooms, spead on a large area and very close to the water line. A well developed swimming shore enables tourists and their children to swim and do boating. From the small Kibutz port, located 1 mile to... More

This is a really lovely place. It's part of a Kibbutz, so there are lots of amenities around. We were in one of the cottages, which we really enjoyed. It had a big open room with a king bed and kitchen. Also a dining table and four chairs. There was a tv with limited channels. The bathroom was good, although... More

We stayed here with a tour. The place has around 160 detached cottage rooms directly on the Sea of Galilee. The rooms are clean and functional, staff is polite and the location is inspirational for those of a religious bent. Strolling the shore and contemplating the rich history of the place is delightful. There is a regular buffet restaurant, and... More

Had we stayed here in high season, I would have said that this resort is way over-priced, but in November, staying on a 3 night special package, I believe that we got good value. For around $150 per night we were upgraded to a cabin close to the water's edge with a lovely view, a huge breakfast buffet was included,... More

This was one of the friendliest and most welcoming places we stayed in all of Israel and Jordan this fall. The location is beautiful and many activities are either possible from the hotel itself swimming, biking) or just a short drive away...all the sights of Jesus's ministry. As an example of their courtesy and willingness to help a traveler far... More

This is a favourite place to stay in Israel. It is situated on the eastern shore of the Kinneret (Lake Galilee) across the lake from Tiberius. We stay in the 2 bedroom cabins on the lake shore. There isn't much here apart from the lake, the apartments and cabins, a dining hall and shop, and a small climbing frame for... More

At $330 per night, this smattering of small cabins by the lake, with a modest park like playground, and a roped of swimming area, which looked like a dirty holding tank overcrowded with swimmers, is way overpriced. The furniture in the cabins appears to have been updated in 1985. Our room had to be sprayed the bugs. The house cleaning... More
