After reviewing many of the trip advisor comments my husband and I chose Artesia Inn for an overnight stay. The first thing I noticed was the room freshener which was a little overwhelming when first opening the door. It wasn't a bad smell but a little more than necessary. Our room was spotless, very inviting and comfortable. I thought our... More

Stayed here with my daughter and a friend in the end of August. My daughter and I stayed in a double room on the building corner next to Chapz bar and grill; my friend stayed in the single room near the office. If you sleep like a log, have hearing loss or have been told throughout your life that "you... More

Booked this room for 2 ,(2 beds)for myself and my son, from my car, on our way to see the Caverns the following day. The rooms that were available at Carlsbad, were all $200+. I was surprised and extremely pleased with this facility. The room is super clean, flat screen TV, microwave, refrig.,pool, BBQ, ice and free Wi-Fi that actually... More

Please note that the front desk closes around 10PM so call if you are arriving late. This is an older property but the room was in order. Pillows were good. Towels were thick like they should be. Room was equipped with medium size flat screen TV, microwave oven, small refrigerator, air conditioner. All appliances were new, not 20 years old... More

We couldn't find a hotel available. We found this place and its a really nice place to spend the night. The clerk lady was really friendly. Rooms were really clean. Even though the smell of deodorant is really strong at first. I would like to stay there next time i have to go there.

This was a older somewhat outdated facility that's photo was misleading when I found on line. The rooms were kept and the staff was friendly, however the individual rooms are really small and confining. There was coffee in the room but no breakfast available of any sort. Paid the same amount of money as other hotels that offer continental breakfast... More

Our room was pretty minimal, even for a moderate-priced motel room. The hot & cold water were both close to the same luke warm temp, there was no hand soap, and no TV guide in our somewhat crowded room.

Had a death in the family and was unable to find rooms anywhere due to oilfield. Finally found Artesia Inn. The rooms were very clean, the staff and management were very friendly and the rates were good. Everything in the room was well kept, very clean (Great cleaning staff). If you are looking for a place to stay and don't... More

The rooms are wonderful. I enjoyed the time and care that housekeeping puts into each room. Clerks need to be trained in customer service though. The gentleman in the office is rude and very unprofessional. The lady was not helpful at all. I was surprised to find out she was the manager. I stayed at this hotel last year and... More

We stayed at the Artesia Inn for one night on our way from White Sands Nat'l Monument to Carlsbad Caverns. They accommodated our late check in, which we really appreciated, since we stayed at White Sands for sunset. Good, basic room, although our window didn't lock. Didn't have any other problems and it was just what we needed for a... More
