Walking distance from main street, this is a quiet, clean and well run property. The staff at the counter were all very polite and helpful. I had made some requests in the special comments section while making our reservation online and I was pleasantly surprised to see them accommodated and available in our room. Someone cares to read these comments... More

This was a great little hotel! Just to clear things up, this hotel in in oil country which means that prices are high for the quality. We chose this hotel because it was more reasonably priced. We had a great experience. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and updated. Also, the hot tea was... More

I was very disappointed in my stay here. My husband and I booked one night. We had an interesting check in experience. We were paying for our room with cash but instead of putting a hold on our card as a deposit they charged our card and then refunded it the next day. It was a very strange process. We... More

If you've never been to Artesia, plan to stay here... its a pretty town close to mountains, and positioned well between Roswell and Carlsbad caverns. The hotel has been recently remodeled and very Art-Deco. The rooms are plenty spacious, the bathrooms big and clean. Everything is new and the floorplan is well thought out. The amenities like free breakfast come... More

I stayed one night at the Hotel Artesia while attending a line dance event in that town. Artesia is a nice little town, and I suspect that this hotel is their best. What I liked: The decor was nice - very modern. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice, especially the shower - great shower head, nice wide spray,... More

This is a great boutique hotel. From the outside, it has influences of art deco, and on the inside, it is very modern and clean. We booked a superior king room. When we checked in, the general manager was on duty, and she told us this room was the very first one she designed for the hotel. She also said... More

Initial impression of room was nice but upon further inspection the bathrooom grout could have been cleaner, it was a little dark in spots in the tub area. Linens were nice, plush towels, alarm clock dvd player was a nice touch. Breakfast was very blah and bready...no fruit. Small exercise room...the equipment was a little noisy but a nice flat... More

We needed a room for 2 day stay on very short notice. All of Artesia seemed booked up for a golf tournament. We were initially able to secure only one night. True to her word, Joy called as soon as a room opened up allowing us to stay both nights in the same location. What a relief! We were in... More
