We were very happy to check into the Nof Ginosar kibbutz. The rooms are clean and efficient, and the food was excellent. It was very nice to walk on the grass and wade in the sea. This was a nice place.

Basically, if you want to stay on the Sea of Galilee, you have two main choices: in Tiberias or in country. If in Tiberias, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. If in the country, pretty much limited to what’s available on the property. Of the hotels outside Tiberias, I believe Nof Ginosar is best choice (with Ma’agan a close... More

I came with 3 female traveling companions. This was my second time staying at this Kabbutz. We were there for 9 nights and the experience was special. The staff was very nice and always accommodating. They have a nice bar area and live music and singing on Friday nights. We opted out of the dinner at night because of the... More

We find this place to be the best value for your money while holidaying around The Kinneret (Sea Of Galilee). The site had 2 types of accommodations 1. the Hotel with few types of rooms. 2. Village- with chalets mainly caters fro families with children it is cheaper than the hotel. The rooms in the hotel are modern good size... More

We stayed here three nights, and it was great to have the private beach and walking distance to the Jesus boat and our boat ride out on the Sea of Galilee. The food was really great and we ate more than we should of but that is what vacations are all about. The only negative is the wifi service was... More

We stayed here in the hotel for two nights with a tour group. The food was excellent and the grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed our little balcony. However, the free wifi was only available in the lobby or cafe, and it was sketchy at best, sometimes gone completely. It wouldn't have been a big deal, but we were trying to... More

We arrived as part of a tour for two nights. The room was out in the sticks ,a feeble wooden chalet design, 600 m from the hotel. The chalet was unseated and damp. no instructions for the remote for the list air con and no phone numbers. Visitiing reception produce an irritated man who made us look like idiots for... More

This is the first chance we have had to write this as the WiFi, only in the main building reception and cafe, was so poor and it kept cutting out. We arrived at Nof Ginosar on the evening of Thursday 19 Feb 2015. We took our kit the 200 yards to our chalet that was cold. There was an air... More

The food was fantastic. The location on the shores of the Sea of Galilee was excellent. The bar was nice & relaxing with "cruise ship" entertainment in the evenings. Staff were polite and courteous but not over-friendly. Wifi was non-existent. The hotel looked great but sadly we were staying in the prefab accommodation (village) which was dire! It was clean... We stayed at the Nof Ginosar kibbutz by the shore of the Sea of Galilee. Our clean and comfortable rooms were in the chalets near the hotel itself which had a large pleasant dining room on the first floor overlooking the lake. The food was excellent with an omelette station at breakfast time and a Heath Robinsonish orange squeezing machine.... More
