On the shores of the Sea of Galilee, a wonderful atmosphere for everyone in this kibbutz hotel. The dining room is clean and offers a large variety for breakfast. During the Festival, there are activities and practically non-stop music for young and old all day and into the night. We've been before and will certainly go again.

My wife and I are nature and food lovers, and this hotel provided us with both at an excellent level. We had asked for a room facing the Arbel Cliffs, which we hiked on our second day there, with a patio to sit on and enjoy the view. It was better than expectations. Breakfasts were excellent, and Friday night (Shabat)... More

I was concerned at first booking this place but it turned out just fine. Had an opportunity to join the Kibbutz residents for Memorial Day service which was quite an experience. The actual hotel was very clean and had all amenities. The only concern was the availability of food. After 8 o'clock the downstairs café is closed which forces you... More

I lived in one of the flats. The standard is quite simle compared to a city hotel, but the environments are so beautiful and peaceful. It is wonderful to take a walk Down to the sea, and take a boat trip on the sea. You also find the museum of the ancient boat in the area.

Stay here as part of a tour. Pros: Comfortable atmosphere Where the locals stay Food was wonderful, great selection Right on the Sea of Galilee The 'Jesus Boat' is right on the property Cons: Beds are a bit stiff Bedding only came up to my waist (I'm 5'8") Could use a bit of an update overall

We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms since all the regular rooms were taken. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was also large and had a jacuzzi bathtub. Our room had a small porch and sitting there at night, listening to the wind and the waves was very relaxing. We enjoyed... More

This is not an ordinary chain hotel but we were very happy with the accommodations and service. The rooms were clean and nice. The buffet was large and had a variety of foods that we have never tried before. The sidewalk to the sea needs to be repaired because the bricks are coming up. The pool wasn't open yet but... More

A very comfortable and peaceful place. I would stay here over a Hilton or Marriott. You are treated well, and the buffet is large enough for anyone's taste. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault. Rooms are nice, and clean and well equipped . A definite favorite and I've been there twice. No complaints !!!

We were very happy to check into the Nof Ginosar kibbutz. The rooms are clean and efficient, and the food was excellent. It was very nice to walk on the grass and wade in the sea. This was a nice place.

Basically, if you want to stay on the Sea of Galilee, you have two main choices: in Tiberias or in country. If in Tiberias, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. If in the country, pretty much limited to what’s available on the property. Of the hotels outside Tiberias, I believe Nof Ginosar is best choice (with Ma’agan a close... More
