the rooms are in suitable size, yet very basic. the shower is the smallest i have ever used, even smaller then the one they used to have in Charles de Gaulle Airport and that one only cost 1 frank. our room had only one window that did not open but to a wood panel dividing us from another rooms balcony.... Having stayed here for two years, I can say that this is a great base to explore the Galilee from. Basic rooms, with nice beds, small fridge and sink make this a good place for no frills vacation. Cable TV in the rooms, with a nice selection of channels and internet. The quiet can be shattered on the weekends when... More

Very simple rooms on a painted cement slab, dim lighting, weird furnishings, very noisy air conditioning, clogged bathroom sink, TV didn't work, flimsy towels, no shampoo or hair dryer. Pleasant enough outside and OK breakfast over at the hotel.

First Impressions: As our tour group entered the resort, we instantly noticed that the property is huge and well-maintained. The pathways are paved and bordered by well-manicured lawns. Hmmm... Decent enough, I thought to myself. After walking past the hotel, we arrived at a row of attached bungalows. Averaging £28 pp per night for a double-bed room, it is good... More

The Ginosar Village is on Kibbutz Ginosar, a real working kibbutz, and is located right on the Sea of Galilee close to all the sites we wanted...Safed, Tiberias, Nazareth, Tabgha, Capernaum. The rooms and suites are ideal for families, with little kitchenettes, barbecues outside, picnic tables on the lawns, grass and trees and play areas, as well as swimming in... More

This was a slice of paradise in Israel. with its lush greenery and beautiful sea, this is a place you must stay at. The rooms were very modern and nicely maintain and the same can be said about the entire kibbutz. The food was out of this word and we ate like kings and queens. The staff was friendly and... More

We spent one night in Ginosar Village and it was a very good value for the price. The desk and breakfast staff were friendly and the location, right on the Sea of Galilee, couldn't be better. Considering that we paid the lower price for staying at the Village instead of the Nof Hotel, yet still got to eat the fantastic... More

It is everything you can expect from a Kibbutz village: basic and quiet. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, the breakfast hall is huge and not exactly a cozy place, but the food is great, with fresh orange juice! Ideal location for exploring the Galilei area.

Ginosar Village is a quiet and peaceful kibbutz that still gives the feel of being out in the country, but with the technology to make one's stay pleasant. I stayed overnight. It is also a lovely family destination at the foot of the Sea of Galilee. It is peaceful and tranquil and a good place to unwind after a busy... More
