We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights during September 2014, paid 1400 Israeli shekels for a night for a standard room, unfortunately the level of maintenance and cleanliness were poor in particular when charging such a high amount for the room. We had to clean up a pile of hair and dirt out of the sink around the sink... More

Making a reservation was difficult since they never pick up. I made reservation 10 days before and had to cancel the reservation. Tried calling 2 days before, no one picked up. Called day before and they told me I have to pay full amount of reservation and not just cancellation fee (only allowed to cancel 14 days before, even though... More

my family stayed at the hotel for the weekend . We were told that the de lux room will fit for 2+2, but it was to small...so they agreed to upgrade us to a larger room, which was fine. The food was ok, a lot of choices...location was great. Very close to Masada, Dead Sea, and other attractions. Staff is... More

Ein Gedi is the place to go if you want to relax for a couple of days. We enjoyed a day at the spa after a pre-dawn hike up Massada mountain. It's a beautiful area, and perfectly located to explore the region. For the price, I expected a more modern room. The food, however, was very good.

Booked a "mini suite" as thought it would offer something over the deluxe - basically it's designed to cater for a family, with a very public deck over looking some grass and a few trees with a very partial view of a mountain. "Mini suite" 414 was close to the pool and spa in a block of 4 or 5... More

The bathroom is so small, and the water from the shower souks everything. For the price I really expected more from the staff to try a solution, not only surcharge for a decent room with a decent bathroom. I will not recomend it.

The views of the Dead Sea and the surroundings are truly spectacular and the the hotel grounds are well groomed. We booked a "Boutique" rooms which were OK and not as spacious as expected for two adults and two small children. We didn't quite get the rooms we expected. The pool was great and the food at the restaurant much... More

I loved our stay at Ein Gedi Resort Hotel, mostly because of the new spa, the beautiful grounds and the spectacular view. The rooms were spartan and the food wasn't fantastic at the Restaurant, although the salad I had at the bar during the day was very good. I would have loved to stay longer, we were there only one... This is an excellent hotel- up on a cliff overlooking the sea. Stayed in the new rooms with free entry to the spa which was great. Location- inside a botanic garden so lots of greenery and interesting plants and flowers. On half board- food excellent. Overall an excellent base for the Dead Sea and only an hour to Jerualem.

My wife and I, as usual, have an relaxion week at the Dead Sea in Ein Gedi Kibbutz hotel. From our point of view it's the best hotel on Dead Sea. We have a spacious well equipped for rest room, good breakfast and lunch. Despite the forty-degree heat, swimming in the Dead Sea is very nice. It wasw very nice... More
