Let me begin by actually giving the resort itself 4 stars but the condition of the rooms more like a 2. The resort has a beautiful setting surrounded by stunning mountains and lovely landscaping. However the rooms were a disappointment. Extremely outdated and in need of some drastic improvements. Beds were hard, wall mounted air conditioning unit was noisy and... More

I would give better rating if the prices matched the reality. Generic old kibbutz room with some hospital style wall paint. Raggedy old furniture for $200 a night We were charged that amount even though we came after the spa closed and left before out was open. Dining room is overpriced as well ₪130 nis per person. Which would be... More

I love the Dead Sea! The air, the water, the sulphur baths, I love it all! It has been a while since I have visited Ein Gedi Resort hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. The new rooms are gorgeous! The Synergy Spa in the Resort is new and it is beautiful. My travelling companion had a massage there that she... More

The hotel is very nice, clean, food is very good but the best experience is the tour of Daniela and Yehuda they tell you stories about the history of the place and make you appreciate what the love for soil can do to plants They take you all over the Kibbutz to see how can people live within Botanical garden

Fantastic botanical gardens and pleasant room with lovely outlook. Unfortunately the buffet food in the socialist style dining hall was almost inedible. It could be a really lovely place if it had quality, well presented fresh food.

This is an excellent facility is an eye-popping location - an ideal place from which to experience this area of Israel. It has extensive grounds, overlooks the Judean desert and Dead Sea, with dramatic mountains on the western side. Tame horned Ibex mountain goats wander the property and are comfortable with photo-taking. There is an exquisite spa on the property... More

Okay, we paid US$202 for a shabby standard room with no view that I wouldn't hesitate to classify as decrepit. I've stayed at motels better than this for 1/3 of the price. The only 5* thing around here is breakfast (heaven). However, you should know that sleeping options in the area are scarce and you probably want to wake up... More

I was going to this hotel expecting lovely people, lovely rooms, lovely food. But instead I found unfriendly horrible people treating me barbarically and inhumanly like I was just another wa of cash that walked thorough the door. The good was as if they thought I was a dog, ans the same goes for the beds. Don't go, don't go,... More
