We are in the midst of an Israel trip. We spent 2 nights in Dan Panorama Tel Aviv, 2 nights in Dan Caesarea, and now 5 in Dan Panorama Jerusalem. The Dan Caesarea was a huge disappointment. Everything is old. Only the outside pool area remains a gem. The rest is very poor given the high rates. We stayed here... More

Condescending front desk and mediocre room service! Revisiting after 7 years only to find improved facilities with no upgrade of the human element. Priced like 5-star with a 2-star service quality. Being polite is not enough; you have to meet client's requests and expectations.

Large, impersonal and in dire need of an upgrade, the hotel smells musty and the furniture looks like it comes out of the 70s. The room was large and the bathroom well equipped with toiletries but the hairdryer was one of those useless wall things. The breakfast buffet was good with a huge choice of dishes although the service was... More

i had a good experience and stay. the staff are very friendly. room with a very good view, but slightly expensive for its class. After a busy day in meeting i would unwind with a nice chilled beer and then order a smoked salmon, which was awesome. good buffet breakfast spread, although they need to get their egg/omelette making skills... I stayed at the Dan Hotels on my first evening of travel to Israel. I was greeted by a friendly staff, our first dinner was amazing (not a bad meal in Israel) and the location was fairly central in Tel Aviv. The staff provided maps, directions, and recommendations. Great hotel - especially for my first impression of this wonderful country.

A faded old lady, this could be a great hotel but needs a total make-over. Room was worn out, small, and felt unclean. Toilet in separate small room from rest of bathroom. However, their pool area is quite lovely but that too could use some TLC.

We stayed for a week, and used the location as our base for all activities while in Israel. It is right in the middle of the country, so access to all places is easy, all you have to do is plan the timing carefully, driving to Tel-Aviv in the morning is painful...the hotel staff is friendly and always willing to... Yes it really looks like it hasn't been decorated or updated since 1970 buy in an odd way that is to its credit. It would be easy, if Dan Hotels could afford it (unlikely according to latest reports of a poor 2013) to clad the whole thing in glass and aluminium but that would make it indistinguishable from every corporate... We stayed at the Dan Caesaria for the Passover Holiday. The customer service in this hotel was atrocious. Many of the staff were downright rude. We were a family group of 19 adults and 6 children. We have spent many Passovers as at various hotels in Israel but never at this hotel. There were many serious issues. Most importantly, my... More
