Was not expecting too much from this hotel and I got what I was expecting. Good food with a moderate level of amenities. The leonardo is a solid hotel. It's a little tired now but I honestly could not fault the staff. Don't go here if you want luxury or exceptional attentiveness, however if you want somewhere that's nice to... More

I have been living in Be'er Sheva Israel for more than two years and have been dealing with the, now Leonardo, formerly Golden Tulip, off and on for the entire time. Part of my job includes coordinating living arrangements for employees visiting and living in Be'er Sheva. The entire time the hotel management and staff has always been accomodating to... More

I stayed at this hotel because it was the only reasonable hotel within a 70 km radius. This hotel has a horrible organization, which caused a disturbance in my trip. I asked to reserve a room and never got a proper confirmation. Upon arrival, I still recieved a vague answer about room availability for the duration of my trip. I... More

The hotel is located in the city center, close to main shopping center, bus station, and not so far from the old city (15 minutes walking). The hall and the whole hotel looks old fashioned, and really needs refurbishement. People are nice at the front desk, however they are not really helpful except for basic request (map of the city,... It is a shame if you have to stay here. The hotel is on its umteenth owner and he is really a has been. It is not clean and the staff is 'understaffed' and dreadful. (The front desk girl was overwhelmed and I felt sorry for her - but that only lasted for 50 minutes). I waited for over an... More

First impressions of the hotel was that it is furnished very tastefully. Stayed in a standard room, and was very pleased with it. Room was very well-maintained. Coffee-making facilities include a very new flask and a pack of coffee/tea/sugar/creamer sachets. Was pleasantly surprised to find 4 towels for the 2 of us, and shampoo and body wash in tube forms... Note on the name -- this is now called Hotel Leonardo, it is part of the Fattal Hotel chain. The hotel name is in large letters at the top of the building and can be seen from quite far away. It is one of the tallest buildings in the downtown area. We stayed here for a family reunion in Beer... More

If you have no choice this hotel is ok. We were given rooms on the business suite floor even though we reserved and payed for regular rooms. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the bus and train station. Breakfast was so so for Israeli standards the dining room staff were mainly unshaven men... More

For the rate they charge you can get a real 4 star hotel in the Tel Aviv area instead of this 2 star hotel/motel. If is a must to stay in Beersheva this is your only choice ... but if you can move to the Tel Aviv/Jerusalem area do so.

After walking out of an establishment in Mizpe Ramon, we decided to move on to Beer Sheva. The only accommodation we could get was the Golden Tulip at NIS 580 - they said that they only had business rooms available but the dining room wasn't full so I'm not sure if it was the truth. Our room was very comfortable... More
