As a special treat for my granddaughter who was visiting all the way from MD, my daughter and I decided to take her to Arroyo Seco - the same town my parents grew up in. When we first arrived at the bed and breakfast, we noticed how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was - it was truly a great location... more

Booked 2 nights for ski weekend; inn was extremely polite, responsive and *reliable* (key w/B&B's) regarding information and assistance. This is not a luxury property -- but it sure is a nice place to spend a weekend. Staff were helpful to a fault, understanding, and communicated well to help us choose a room (we chose the Master suite). The room... more

I have stayed here many times since 2004 and have also held my Native American Women's Retreats here. My women's groups are always pleased and delighted by the personable innkeepers, Pam and Jim Maisey, who do their best to make sure that everyone is happy and feels at home. The rooms are spacious and sumptously decorated. The grounds are clean... more

This was a very warm and friendly place. The inn keepers are wonderful people and make the best breakfast we have eaten out in a long time. They gave us the local and world news every morning, and did everything possible to make our stay pleasant and wonderful. This place will definately be the place we stay at the next... more

We stayed for two nights in October 2008, an really would not mind to stay longer. It is a very nice place, very clean, with real home style kitchen. As long as Pam and Jim are the owners, I’d choose this place over Taos proper. more

I only stayed here one night but it was great. The room was large and very clean. I stayed in the Lobo room. The bathroom was also very large and nice. Best of all is the food and the views. It's so peaceful and quiet here - you can look right out the window to the mountains. The whole experience... more

I love that the location is not too far from town- and you are still out far enough to enjoy the beautiful scenery. You can just relax in your room, or enjoy outdoor activities. The breakfasts are great! more

Perfect place for my family of 5 to hang out for a week. Quiet peaceful location, nice pool and hot tub, pleasant decor throughout, fantastic meals, and warm hospitality. Pam and Jim are very accomodating to kids and families, and were a great resource for tips on hiking trails, horseback riding, etc. Tennis court is in bad shape, but it... more

We spent three nights at the Salsa del Salto for a wedding, which was held on the grounds. We had one of the rooms (Yerba) in the annex, just a short walk from the main building. It was very attractive and roomy, with a large bathroom, TV, small fridge, and a gas fireplace, which we used only once, though the... more
