Nice and clean and almost like a hotel. But it was pricey to be called a hostel. Breakfasts was good and they also offer you supper for a fee. It is close to everything and all the attractions. It is hard to find a cheep place but I found some the next day while walking around. So if you look... More

When I say modern I mean- clean, spacious, freshly painted walls, wi- fi in the room and flat screen TV. Bathroom is also nice and claen. When I say with a soul I mean the building itself and the restored historical aqueduct inside the building. The youth hostels in Israel are always full of school kids group. You have to... More

Walked in and there were some vacancies, even though it was indicated as sold out online. The lady put my in a large room with a large balcony, but the room did not cool of because of the air flowing through the hostel into my room, I tried to relax and went out. Busloads of kids had arrived when I... More

We came here after visiting Acre a few months earlier, and passing by this place made us want to stay. The staff were pretty nice. The room - very spacious and clean, modern and well equipped. The only thing - they didn't refill the shampoo and soap bags, and we had to ask. The breakfast was amazing! Such a variety... More

Hostel id good and new. Location is excellent. However, please take note that the old Akko is crowded by local arab people, who are not everytime happy to see you there. Walking around city walls (it is about 80 meters from the hostel) at sunset we were assaulted by local teenagers, throwing stones to me and my children. Thanks God... More

I liked everything about this Guest House. There are a lot of school kids that come to stay overnight, which can make for a boisterous stay, but this guest house has made accommodations for adult travelers. There are just a very few number of rooms on the third floor, (6 I think), to accommodate adults during these peak school trips.... More

One of the best budget accommodations we've stayed in in Israel. - double room is spacious and clean - location is right next to the old city - buffet breakfast is amazing offering all the local specialities (hummus, tahini, eggplant paste, you name it) - good price considering Israel prices in general The only thing is that internet system is... It is easy to find, just inside the city walls. We arrived by bus, It is a good walk from the bus and train stations but the bus driver dropped us outside. The room was enormous and clean , excellent bathroom and the room also had both a flat screen tv and a fridge- not what we were expecting. We... More

Yes, the building is like a fortress, and it does have an institutional vibe inside, as someone here already mentioned, but we enjoyed our stay because of its location (directly across from the Old City) and the rate was right for us. We booked two rooms (both have balconies) and both rooms are so clean - even have a teamaker... More
