Stayed for a week with the most pleasant helpful, thoughtful, unintrusive, friendly hotel staff we have ever encountered. The rooms are beautiful, rustic beachside bungalows with everything you need. The restaurant was the best we tried in the Sengiggi area.This place was the highlight of our month long honemoon and we honestly couldn't fault it. Would love to go back....... more

An easy review to write as we enjoyed everything about the Alang Alang. It's small, intimate, and friendly. Rooms are mostly in peaceful, spacious villas with the ubiquitous outdoor bathrooms. Our first experience with beautiful Alang-Alang Boutique hotel encouraged us to return 3 times each of one week. Our Room was excellent and enjoy the outside shower. I stayed at the Alang-Alang for 5 nights in March while tripping north and south Lombok on a moped and out to the Gili Islands (see photos).
