Decided to stay in Mataram at the last minute and was really pleased with Oka. The family that runs it is lovely, and the price is incredibly cheap for a private room. A large free breakfast never hurts. Bathrooms are the only call out- a shower that barely drips water down upon you and a no flush toilet are just... More

I stay today from 9-10 august. Staffs / the owners are friendly ;) Reasonable chepeast price. Only rp. 100.000,- / $10 you can get 1 room with 2 beds. Near Main street with lots of food seller.. Especially ayam taliwang. But wifi is very slow inside the room.

We stayed at Oka for four nights and had a wonderful time, we were well looked after by Rini and the other lovely ladies. The rooms are all fan cooled, and are clean and comfortable. The wifi connection is good and the dog Onni is so friendly. We sat on the porch with a lovely garden view and nattered with... More

A decent hostel for a cheap price. It should be categorized as backpack hostel, a lower grade than budget hotel. The host is friendly, it has a well maintained natural garden, it has a reliable Wi-FI internet connection. So, basically it is a very proper stay. The room is small, with two beds (a lousy one :p) and a bathroom... More

I lived last year March and April in Oka homestay. Together with a friend we worked on our thesis and Oka was a good and relaxed place to stay. Nice and friendly people who helped you out any time. Every morning breakfast with pancakes or toast. Also the room had a tv and a european toilet. The only things missing... More

Passed by. Price was about 80.000 including breakfast, so sounded good. checked out to rooms, both humid, dark and smelled funghi. Victor 3 though more expensive is a better option just down the street

This is a review about the "Oka & Son" next door which is run by the same family. We had made a reservation 2 hours prior to arriving. When we arrived 2 hours later the owner said that there was no room and did not want to help us find a comparable room (it was already dark). He said something... More

Oka & Sun Homestay is near to the centre of Mataram. A big shoppingmall is at 5 minutes walking distance. The homestay has good rooms with a normal shower and toilet. It is clean and the owners are really friendly. There is a small shop to buy the basic things. In the morning you can choose your breakfast; there is... More
